mariussx
I don't really want to do that... That caused problems for me last time and reinserting the card was troublesome... I remember that when my 970M died, J95 told me to reseat it by removing just the 2 screws with heatsink in place along with fan (or without fan)...Is your screen fine or did Windows 10+nvidia driver brick the firmware? Windows 10+ nvidia 355.60 driver bricked my screen in R4.In regards to removing/re-installing nVidia GPU, you should not have any issues if you are in Optimus. nVidia card is not required at all to POST or boot into Windows. TomJGX
Unlocked BIOS installed... Just doing rest of steps @J95... Edit: I have installed everything however J95 2 points, 1. I don't want to mess around with Creative drivers... I don't have any of those chipset issues and don't want that so I'll stick to old drivers (I have the latest ones on AW website).. do the new drivers actually make any difference? 2. I still have CPU TDP throttle... What settings should I set in the BIOS to prevent this? I have BD PRODCT disabled along with MSR... Maybe Mr. Fox can also help?
BlastingKap
Running Windows 10+ Nvidia 355.60 with a GT 750M here. The Geforce Experience update allowed me to download the new driver then it failed saying it wasn't compatible with the version of windows. Downloaded from Nvidia's site and installed successfully. No issues here so far
J95
@J95 , dont know if im doing it right, stock vbios with sli disable So are you guys using Prema vbios now?Looking at the version 1.1 released when I go to flash it, it's telling me that my cards ID 05AA doesn't match the intended card's ID. Haven't browsed these forums in a bit since I've been busy. @tony7755333 Please, try flashing the stock vbios NVFLASH_WIN_5.218_x64 (password premamod.com) and then run GPU-Z render test. ASIC 70.2% 1.062v 3D voltage seems inaccurate. THX. @jjbettcher I need the missing 3D voltage reading 71.5% ASIC card. THX.
