I don't really see how your cpu would overheat even with the heat sink you currently use. I'd say 3piped hs would be an overkill.

Well, apart from my subjective view on Razer products (no likey) I can tell you that a friend of mine got one of those and had to rma it within a month. Can't say i was surprised.. Me and a few other users here (@unreal25 is one) had a very pessimistic experience with razer products.

I actually never checked the M14x bios. I only saw that in the M17x and m18x bioses. Just assumed it'd be the same in the m14x.

AFAIK the option is there in the bios. I never tried it though and always assumed it only works with LAN

warranty would not cover it, since it's your error that caused the problem. On the bright side- screens aren't very expensive and pretty easy to swap.
