  6. The overclocking community is abuzz with discussions about a post on Overclock.net that introduces a tool called "nvflashk." This tool claims to enable users to flash custom BIOSes onto NVIDIA GPUs, even the latest 4xxx series, including Founders Edition cards. It's a topic that has caught the attention of many tech enthusiasts, but it also comes with its share of skepticism and concerns. The original post on Overclock.net expresses concerns about transparency and proper credit regarding the software release. The author highlights the potential consequences of the release and the broader context of graphics card flashing and rebranding. It's clear that the community values open communication to address these issues. On Techpowerup.com there's a discussion about creating an nvflash downloader/patcher for Linux. The emphasis here is on the distribution of patch files rather than the nvflash software itself. This reflects concerns about the longevity and accessibility of the project, suggesting the need for multiple hosting options and open-source code. Reddit's overclocking community provides a practical solution. A user, who happens to be a software engineer, has patched the latest version of nvflash to support specialized BIOS flashing on GPUs. They've shared their work on GitHub along with a video demonstration, offering a valuable resource for those interested in this technology. In the world of GPU overclocking and BIOS modification, it's essential to balance innovation with caution. While nvflashk opens up exciting possibilities, it's crucial to approach it with care, keeping in mind the insights and concerns shared by the overclocking community.
  7. I've been playing this game the last month and having a blast! My favorite class right now is medic (surprise surprise) using a P90. Sometimes I'll switch to an M200 sniper when I want to chill and pop off heads. What's your favorite class to play? Some videos of mine: 1. 2. 3.
  8. There might be a function command (eg fn+f6) that switches the display to 120 hz. If not, then maybe the bios needs to be updated to use the newer gpu. The existing one might need dells own driver to initialize the display.
  9. Which do you prefer?

  11. Sorry I've been absent from Tech|Inferno everyone, life has kept me busy but I'm glad to see the forums humming along. We're always in the background ensuring things are running smoothly. To that end, I'd like to introduce my newest watercooled build that I think you'll like it. For a list of parts used and specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/HdHzK8 For comparison, here's the older version 2 that I had built in 2020:
  12. We don't support Prema mods here, sorry. You can try PM'ing @BAKEDbut I'm not sure if he's actively making any mods right now.
