A new alienware should not have so many issues, call dell and demand a refund or a new build (your preference) Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

Those are just rebadged old cards, maybe slightly better performing but nothing too exciting. http://www.anandtech.com/show/6579/nvidias-annual-gpu-rebadge-begins-geforce-gt-730m-and-geforce-710m-partial-specs-published Certainly isn't worth waiting for m14x refresh because of it. just demand a refund if you're still within your 21 days. Bet they will offer to replace your keyboard and the screen again just to convince you not to return it.
-
Seems like you got a lemon. Frankly, I'd either demand a new unit built or a full refund.

Looks interesting indeed Thanks for the tip!

Oops, same mistake as Mr. Fox

A bad bad place where computer enthusiasm goes to die :-) /joke It's a rival notebook forum (notebookreview.com)

@Clevorr i personally wouldn't trust >3K$ with a company like Razer. In my opinion they do shiny products with mediocre insides. The three mice of theirs (2x mamba + orochi) gave me that feeling - all three had a "showstopper" defect within a year of purchase.

Congrats and welcome buddy! -
What's the error you are getting?

There was never a m15x with core-I family processors

eBay would be a good and cheap option. Bought quite a few screens for different laptops on ebay, and as long as i kept with reputable sellers all went smooth.

Any 920 really, you must be seeing oem & qs/es chips. All of them will work.
-
Yep, that one too :-) unless the bios has a white list of allowed cards (which it doesn't in your case) you can install any card you want :-)

Just bought my first turbo car ever (Audi A3 2.0 TFSI) so yeah, a turbo or general car thread would be nice! -

Depends on what I need I sometimes leave the wifi cables in and just leave the screen lying next to the bottom part. Those pesky little wifi cables are such a pita to put back -
Yeah nada from Dell for Linux at all.

Up to you really, performance-wise there is no difference I can think of

Nope. 80 is fine.

According to our bios guru @svl7 machines that come pre installed with windows 8 have very slight chance of getting a modified bios.

@moka - if you want @Xonar to notice your question use the '@' sign in front of his name. That way he will be notified of your mention. Welcome to TI Btw ;-)
