hi ganjax, no i dont i will take some next time i have it apart. i used parts from a clevo p170m heatsink and asus g73jh heatsink and i still have to add 1 more heat pipe befor i can start to over clock without having to wurry about heat.

no not meny mods just a fuw heatsink mods and i still need to add an extra heat pipe temps at for regular use are around 30c - 40c then when gaming it cranks up to 75c to 85c ... well the score's are getting better now. thanks to jmhdj who gave me a hand with the drivers and its working better the latest score is around 7450 3dmark11 : Generic VGA video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor,ASUSTeK Computer Inc. G73Sw im not planing to overclock it until i get the extra heat pipe added. but i am very happy with its performance.

yes khenglish is correct. try this vbios i posted here: http://forum.techinferno.com/clevo/2059-excellent-upgrade-p150hm-7970m-4.html#post100602 its the modded vbios that was on my MYTHLOGIC clevo 7970m

if you know some1 with a crossfire laptop put it in as the secound card and then see what happens and what info you can bring up on the screen. then try to flash it that way..

hello svl7 were you able to get the 8970m working agan by soldering a new pre programed Vbios chip to the msi 8970m? did you try it ? or was it compleatly bugged and unfixable after flashing the 7970m? was it the clevo hm7970m enduro off vbios that you flashed the 8970m with? thanks

ultimate7 did you get your 7970m working... i only just seen this message ....i have a good vbios. its from a MYTHLOGIC 7970m works the best out of all that i had tried. it works with clevo hm series, w880cu, w870cu, asus g73jh. and kind of works on samsung series 7 gamer np700g7a but in that case i havnt been able to get the fans to function , from what i have been told its to do with the ec tho..but thats another story for another thread... but yer if you need the MYTHLOGIC 7970m vbios let me know.

i thought dell 7970m needed to be flashed? and then is there any problams with fan fuction? ( max fan all the time?)

Do you know if the 8970m Non Enduro clevo cards should work in older clevo laptops such as clevo w880cu, p170hm, p150hm? i meen will the 8970m Non Enduro clevo cards fuction correctley, like the non enduro 7970m do in these laptops?

So im in the UK/Northen Ireland but im from Australia. this is a great site iv spent hrs here reading all the sea of information and its always helped with all my upgrades / mods. I have a asus G73jh with 7970m Clevo w880cu that has had 6970m, 6990m , 7970m and now it is runing with a ASUS 5870m & my current project is samsung NP700g7A upgrade to 7970m

hi MYTHLOGIC do u know if this samsung 120hz screen should work in a clevo w880cu or w870cu?? be fantastic to know for shor if it will work?? i have been reserching on the net for the last year and still cant find any concreat yes or no.. thanks

i did the same thing in a clevo w880cu with the same 40 pin screen 120hz samsung screen it fryed my motherbord and the screen. tho i have never found out exactly what has cased this to happen as both screens have the same 40 pin connector. its been bugging me ever sence as to why it didnt work dous anyony have an in depth ansear as to why it didnt work? would love to know ... maby then i could find a way to make it work.
