  1. Hmm, off the top of my head deviantart and etsy are the only two sites i know of for that sort of thing. I doubt it will help any, but you never know.
  2. Has there ever been any experimenting with undervolting on the M14xR1? Back when i had an amd comp i undervolted and got some cool results (as far as temps and such)
  3. Lol, Yea, im loving the game so far. Your almost at a really cool level (a motel) and man the game really feels great in levels like that. And it scales really well between systems, Like if you do the settings properly you can get the game to look almost identical to ultra, but with notably better performance (try setting shadows to minimum, not jaggy at all). At first i had trouble with this game, but once you break into a observant/tactical mindset you really start to make progress. And if you ever get stuck, just goof around, thats how i beat the Chinatown level. A lot of the time it will seem like there's no solution then youl find a crack in the security and BAM its over just like that.
  4. Hmm, I haven't had any noticeable performance drops with the newest drivers. But i haven't been bench marking my FPS. I usually just stick with The newest drivers and every 3 or so installs i wipe the drivers off my computer with driver sweeper.
  5. T_T I payed $5.75 partly because i have no soul and partly because i have no job. I only really needed Red Faction and Darksiders too haha. But yea, its only been 6 hours as of now and they have already raised 1.8 million dollars, split between THQ, charity and Humble of course, but still, at this rate THQ will pay off their debts and avoid closing down in a matter of days! and thats always good news, especially since THQ does put out some good games.
  6. Lol, even i get 40-60 fps maxed out when nothings happening and i have a bare bones M14x R1. The problems when the bullets start flying, tanks my FPS to like 20-30 and its not a smooth 20-30 either T_T IDK, im just not that motivated to play, it takes about 80 hours of actual gameplay to unlock 1 gun, assuming you dont buy upgrades in the meantime and it really doesnt feel like hundreds of people are playing per team. If you ask me it feels less populated than battlefield, and the weapons arent particularly cool, or challenging to use. IDK, I get about 5 times the fun for my time from something like Blacklight retribution. Not to mention that game looks and runs better X3
  7. From what ive seen its not very compatible with anything beyond XP and requires a virtual OS.
  8. Boobs better pack his stuff and head to Colorado or Washington haha, I bet it looks like a remake of the movie "the mist" over there. Hopefully without the bad ending.
  9. Yea, Its an R1, and i tried running that, get the same 3 errors. x_X Ile keep trying things, but any suggestions are welcome. - - - Updated - - - Ooops, Fixed it XD Was a newby mistake, had HT disabled in the unlocked bios, guess the bios updater didnt take kindly to that x_X Thanks for the help though guys, much apreciated.
  10. I seem to be having an issue, i installed a voltmod from here, (A08 i believe) anyway now when i try to revert back to the dell bios it gives me a few errors(and doesnt install). The errors are as follows: IHISI: get support mode fail in SMI Bios did not support InsydeFlash! IHISI: Flash complete error in SMI! If anyone could help me out i would be grateful. I just want to go back to standard bios because im done experimenting with overclocks. (Also, i can switch between the modded bios it seems, but not back to official bios.)
  11. Out of curiosity, whats the highest stable clocks you guys have seen with the voltmod? Right now im rocking a nice 820/1080 (A03) and am very pleased with the gains from the voltmod.
  12. I like to compare a well overclocked 555mgt to a 450gts, the 450gts is a bit stronger(10-15%~) but is generally used at higher resolutions. So on sites like Nvidia optimize its makes it really easy to get a solid ballpark for what settings you should be using.
  13. i suppose your glorious brave heart speech has convinced me SVL. Ile install BF3 again. TO ARMS!
  14. Hmm, I like nvidia because its more reliable to give me good performance across all games i play. Like borderlands had issues with ATI. But ATI does have some pretty nice prices for their horsepower. I usually reccomend noobies to stick with nvidia XD
  15. Played the demo, this is the first resident evil ive played on console (not counting RE4 and emulations). If you ask me it the game feels really sloppy to play. Like the controls, how you interact, so on so forth. Idk, it doesnt feel like an extension of my thumbs like 90% of AAA games. and the way the graphics are done, super dark with massive amounts of bloom. x_X I like to think it will be better on PC cuz i kinda just stumbled around until i collided with a zombie then mashed the karate button.
  16. Im using a Logitech Performance MX or something like that and game at 1500DPI Its pretty nice, and i dont use a mouse pad with it because it doesn't need one. (Sides, my table which i got from a restraunt is smoother than any mouse pad you can find.) Honestly I dont really notice the difference between a high DPI and low sensitivity and a low dpi and a high sensitivity.
  17. Mother of gawd Well that just rofl stomps my regular desktop with just the recycling bin in the top right!
  18. This is a really nice guide! Thanks for the Post this will surely save me a good two or three hours of hunting next time i have to do an install.
  19. I could reccomend the psycho carbon and krypton, their a bit spending but have true 5.1 which is really nice for gaming. BUT their not particularly good for movies and music so its reccomended to get a pair of earbud headphones too
  20. Deadspace 2 shouldnt have any control lag, I know deadspace 1 had mountains of it. but i dont recall any in deadspace 2.
  21. Hmm lets see, I nabbed Audiosurf The witcher 1 binding of isaac bundle (+soundtrack) E.Y.E divine cybermancy Orcs must die Rage company of heroes Knights of the old republic and its only been like $30 And im deciding on(today): bastion, limbo Thief DS and a tale of 2 sisters because i need something new and silly, i play far too many serious games. ALSO Totalbiscuit (totalhalibut on youtube) is doing a breakdown of each game every day in the steam sales, not too shabby since a good number of games are under the radar.
