BamXx
Hey J95, I hope you can help me out, I upgraded my m17x r3 (win8.1) with a 680m and modded the 344.75 driver, disabled the driver signing via cmd and installed the driver ( was asked if I want to install it, pressed yes) then rebooted and got a blackscreen. So I disabled the IGP and set display to PEG, and now I am here. Device manager displays my GPU as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and the id changed. J95
Yep, basically a workaround for v344.75 (31 installs), now I know where to look next time. This is a beta driver that addresses the following issues:GeForce GTX 980 displays texture shimmering when Texture Filtering Quality set to High Quality.GPU outputs fuzzy lines over DisplayPort after a period of time following driver updates.System hang up and black screen after power on with some monitors (DP1.2 & 4K/60Hz) + GTX980

Create a restore point and find out... @mw86 Try it out, there's more positive feedback with this version than 344.75.

J95
did exactly as you said, but still mid instal the screen just turns off IGP disabled (Integrated Graphics) PEG enabled and driver signing disabled, try re-seating the card. If it still fails, faulty GPU.
