Think i have to reactivate my M17x r3 and have a look in the bios. Maybe i get some ideas then.

Do i understand you right, you switched Primary Display to PEG and then disabled PEG?

If it's not 3d then it's 60Hz. What are the exact changes you made in the bios?

What kind of display do you have, 120Hz (3d) or 60Hz? Do you have a unlocked bios flashed on it?

Do you still have your 560M? If yes, use this one to get into the bios and make all the settings. After that switch back to the 780M.

Do you use the "-6" Option in command line?

You only have a msata ssd, no "normal" ssd? Do you know that the msata port is only sata 2?

That means that you run the command prompt as Administrator.

A13 is on the official driver page. On the driver page you have to switch the OS to Win 8.1, then it is there. I think the best way to figure out if you have a hardware or software problem is to make a fresh clean install. If you wont lose your current installation make a image (with Acronis True Image or something like this) and give it a try. You can also upgrade to win 10 and see if your problem still exists.

Maybe the 7970M is faulty. Have you tried to boot without the 7970M?

Maybe you have to use a different driver Version.

I never benchmarked a 780M in a R3 with firestrike, but i knew a guy that installed a 970M in an R4 (1 or 2 weeks ago) and he got something around 6300 pts in firestrike. So i think your 5000 pts are ok.

You mean the small pin in the middle, right? I had 2.95 volts on it, but a little left or right and you get on the inside and there is the output voltage of 19.5 volts.

Did you read what i wrote in this thread on page 19/20 to ServusFidelis? That should work for 780M as well.

In the R4 i never used a unlocked Bios or made any Biossettings and had no Problems with the 780M (A12 stock legacy and A13 stock uefi mode, i think) nor wtih 980M (A13 stock full uefi only). I only had to use modded .inf. With Windows 10 i had to switch off the integrated by using Fn+F7 because optimus will not work in the correct way.

Not sure if i tried with the A12 but i used optimus and it worked fine. So i had no need to enable PEG only. Have you tried this?

I had to make a clean full uefi install of Windows 10 with the new GTX 980M. So maybe you have to do this too.

I had a 780M in my R4 with A13 stock and no Problems with Sound.
