  1. My question is, any news on ASUS g751jt 970m bios unlock? Also the other side note is: will I brick my gpu if I flash unlocked clevo or msi bios on top of my ASUS 970m VBios? I want to oc this horse big time
  2. My question is, if I flash my asus g751jt gpu with, for example clevo vbios... corresponding to the same amount of VRam which is 3GB, will it mess it up or will it unlock the gpu for higher oc?
  3. Any updates on 970m for g751jt? I need to OC that horse
  4. Correction.... you don't have to remove the mobo. I was thinking you want to access the back lol
  5. The bezel is attached to keyboard, it's all one piece. Take the back panel off, pull out the HDD so you don't damage it. Now you will have access to some ram ports in the back but if you want compete access, then you need to unscrew all the screws. Then flip your pc over. Now the back panel, the one over the vents will come off. Be careful not to tare the speakers off. Disconnect that little cable. You will see bunch of screws. You need to disconnect your display. Once you do that pry a little on the bezel with really thin knife or something flat. Don't use screw driver because it will leave marks and you don't want that (too much pressure in one spot will do that). Once you do that lift the back end (closer to you) very carefully. Bunch of cables will be connected to the mobo. Disconnect them, don't just pull but unlatch then carefully remove. Now the panel is off. You need to unscrew the corner piece on the top right and unplug the vents, pull them out and the unscrew the motherboard. Flip it over. Now you have access to other 2 Ram slots. I know it's a pain but that how you do it. Might repaste as well while at it. I do not take any responsibility if you f#^% something up.
  6. The problem is that is the CMOS battery all the way under the motherboard and you have to unscrew the mobo in order to flip it over. When you have bad oc (aka too under clocked cpu) you need to ray bios completely because pc stint torn on at all
  7. Yes it does work. It's an mxm card as well. Just make sure you watch Temps and put some nice thermal paste like mx4 or something. It'll be fine. Undervolt the CPU to give some OC room for gpu and you're good to go
  8. Send it back and get a new one. It's way too hot
  9. Had the same thing on g751. RMA is your friend
  10. Will this work on gtx970m 3gb on p670se Mobo
  11. Just use 344.75 and Increase your refresh rate on the screen
  12. That was my bad. 344.75 is the last unlocked version. If you get that and the go to Nvidia control pannel, then change your monitor refresh rate, you'll get the same thing as with 347.09 version but still OCed with higher fps
  13. Just get the 347 driver, the second from the newest where you can still oc then go to your display and run screen at 75hz that's what I did and that thing flies on amazing speeds
  14. Where do you serve at? I am stationed at Ft.Carson, CO
  15. Hey man, I bricked my*asus*g751jt by doing too low of undervolt and now it turns on, sits for few minutes and then turns off. Screen is black and the*keyboard*lights up but nothing else. You can hear the hard drive going but the system shuts of after 10 or so seconds. I took it apart, pulled the CMOS plus out and waited for 10 minute, disconnected the battery connector and did power dragon but nothing. Last thing is RMA but is there anything else I could do?

  17. So hello everyone. Today I've gone nuts and decided to disassemble my 2k laptop because I had bad OC with XTU and me as a smart guy... I did not want to ship it to ASUS as****les because they usually bring back horrible hardware in my NEW PC and screw something up anyways:) so this is g751jy disassembly and it is also applies for g751jt.... no stupid questions please however questions are always welcomed even stupid ones ..
  18. It doesnt always matter what bios you flash(unless its asus LOL) the one closest to your code name is the right one
  19. Do you now how far I can push my 770m 3gb? It's a Clevo card and it's a clevo as well P17SM. Also I was wandering, would it be OK to flash it with different Vbios?
  20. Actually you don't need to have special bios. If you download Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (xtu) you could overclock your CPU +200 Mghz and undervolt your cache and core I wouldn't do it. Your temps are pretty maxed out all ready. I have sager and here in summer (Utah) I run about 50-60C, 58-70C with OC. And your headroom is about 8C Ok, here's what you do. Set all multipliers to max. Core voltage offset -55Mv, cache -20Mv. Your power boost thing is at 55Watt instead of 57.250 duration of boost 32. Not all boards and CPUs are the same. I'll update you on the further testing once I get home from Nebraska Extra FPS for free? Why not. I'll post some of my results
  21. What happens if they blow up? Will they not function?
