  1. This is really odd. All of my suggestions for you you have already done
  2. I have to agree a lot with everything you said here. I waas getting SO ANNOYED by the whole sound thing when i was playing a little bit ago. I would craw past a rock, and 1000 feet away a sniper would fire through the rock into me, when i hadn't even risked going into the open ONCE. I'm starting to think that those deaths are from a sniper being underground, and it showing them being above ground. Spawn kills are pretty constant. Maps are massive, and yet if you try to run through them, you get picked off. Basically you can either run through the open, and die. Hide behind stuff, and die. OR the weirdest option yet the most effective in my opinion. CRAWL through the areas that you think would be the most popular. I seem to die more when i crawl through far away areas off to the sides, then when i crawl through a pathway in the middle of the freaking map. I am pretty optimistic that EA will iron this stuff out though, and i'm really hoping that this game will be more polished. That said, i haven't pre-ordered the game. By the way stevenx, i was pretty surprised with the FPS i was getting, can you check my post in the m14x gaming thread and read my settings and fps? I tried imitating your settings without the overclock, and i was surprised because i got the same fps.
  3. Hey guys, here some more info about Battlefield 3 Beta, and my gameplay stats. I played at 590/1180/900 stock clocks, with the 280.26 drivers and never dipped below 30 fps. On the outdoor map, i had about 35-40 fps while moving around, max of 45, and never went below 30 even in heavy gunfights. This is pretty surprising to me. Anyways, i'm looking forward to trying the new "Battlefield 3 Drivers" and seeing what performance i get then Settings: All Ultra, shadows medium. Resolution 1366x768 60hz refresh rate. AA off AF off, Ambient occlusion off (do you guys use off, SSAO, or HBAO?) The game is a lot of fun, but as expected, there are A LOT of glitches already, i.e. falling through the floor and struggling to get out, white flashes every now and then, etc. I will be trying to do an overclocked gameplay @ 750/900, but i haven't had a chance to overclock this m14x being that it is my new replacement . lemme know if you have any other questions!
  4. I know that most people don't, nor do i, but it is a good way to show respect for someone
  5. +Rep steven and boobs for the updates, thank you! Edit: steven your rep will come after i rep other people lol
  6. sir, you bring honor to T|I. +rep
  7. I actually read up on this a little, and they said they NEVER delete games. so what you could just do is remember to play any origin game at least once every 2 years? xD?
  8. This thread is full of the lols. what's odd is i pictured svl7 mw86 Stevenx Michael Stamatis and Jimbo to be in those ranges. I guess the shoutbox convos really help ya get to know people As for me I'm living the good life at 16, ya jelly grandpa's? /endtroll I think the number one thing that makes this forum great is that not only are the people mature, we all seem to have our own independence, rather than just copying what other people say, like on a certain other website...I guess that comes with age, therefore it looks like me Gears and Ninja are the noobs
  9. oops, almost forgot to say, +1 for the work and info, lolz!
  10. Very nice stevenx, you planning on getting a nice ripper mod on that flimsy baseball bat
  11. Okay, i will edit this when i get home, i'm getting limited internet as it is. Anyways, i need someone to take a picture of there m14x's side piece to the monitor. ya know, the blackish/gray parts on the left and right? There are two strips. The ones closest to the inside are both popping out a bit it seems on my m14x, can someone take a pic of their m14x from straight on to screen, and from left and right sides? Also, can someone do the same thing for the plastic rims on the left and right hand sides of the computer? The strip I'm talking about is the piece that is on the most outside of the left and right hand sides. Please take the picture so you can see the top surface where tihngs like the touch pad are. i dont need to see the touchpad, just the surface all of that is on, PLEASE HELP! I WILL UPDATE THIS LATER JUST GOTTA GET THIS UP ASAP. EDIT: PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER SENDING IN THE PICTURES!!!! I just got home and checked with my old m14x (being sent back to dell) and it turns out it has it too. I'm not worried anymore, thanks anyways guys :X
  12. May i ask what resolution you are running at Steven?
  13. me and my mother are very good at negotiating sales from dell, we are long term customers and have bought things from computers to printers from them. The first time we were looking to get the m14x, i got it for under the base price :3, however it would have had the 720p screen and i really wanted the 900p. So we waited and i got a little bit less of a deal.
  14. Yeah pretty much, except the graphics have a really cool, semi-cartoon style that I like. Also, the leveling system is more emphasized and you don't have to be doing quests constantly, which is nice. I like that there is a bit of a challenge to it at times, with weapon ammo running low, and taking cover so your shields recharge and always aiming for those critical hits. It's a lot of fun
  15. You sure he's a dell rep? Seems fishy to me.
  16. This is an amazing idea. Stevenx basically already did this with the Gaming on Battery setting. Take some from the CPU, and the GPU won't get downclocked. Now imagine this at large scale because of the gpu voltage mod? only thing i'm concerned about is games such as BF3. I heard it utilizes some of the CPU for performance.
  17. yeah i highly recommend beating at least playthrough 1
  18. Thanks Stamatis! , more videos will prob come as i get more games
  19. http://forum.techinferno.com/pc-gaming/1097-how-mod-borderlands.html enjoy it isn't very polished Dx
  20. Ok guys here is a tutorial. It is not quick by any means, quite lengthy and step by step. If you need anymore help, feel free to post here . I recommend watching in 1080p full screen on youtube to see everything well.
  21. okay, well it seems that the only way to post a video here is to upload to youtube and then link that to here, so i'm doing that. I'll make a new thread in pc gaming when its done, and make another post here with the link to that.
  22. That's weird, because i don't remember there being a mobile nvidia driver of 270.26. Try this: Download drivers 280.26 and the modded inf. then use windows add/remove program to get rid of the old drivers, and then install the new ones. i don't remember 270.26, those sound pretty old. Here's the link: v280.26 Windows 7/Vista 64bit | NVIDIA OEM Notebook - LaptopVideo2Go Forums
  23. That's odd. But i think i know what you mean. Right click on your desktop, click graphics properties, and check to make sure Refresh Rate is at 60hz. Lemme know if that does anything
  24. +Rep TMI Anyways, @iloveb00bs, do you want me to make a modding tutorial for Borderlands?
  25. hahaha yeah, if you want a little tutorial with any games or stuff, let me know. I mod a lot of games after i complete them legitimately. I just miss the old school days of ps3 modding before it was jail-broken. That was the best because you actually had to work for it, made it all the more savory. Cheat engine is a very useful program if you can work it right.
