  1. Just wanted to say thanks mmskate13! I became frustrated during my first playthrough that I couldn't buy every cool item I found (especially anything class-specific). If only I had unlimited money. If only... Yeah. So long story short, I now have 9.7 million dollars and a desire to dominate Borderlands - thanks to your mod vid. Thanks bro ;-) TMI
  2. I'd also love to hear more. Blizzard always seems to perfect their products, so Diablo 3 has lots of potential IMO. I think I broke two mice during my Diablo 2 phase ;-)
  3. Thanks mmskate13! I'll definitely be checking this out again after I beat the game the first time.
  4. All three copies have now been 'gifted,' so it's time to close up shop until I make my next boneheaded Steam purchase. I hope Mr. Boobs, Ninja and Jimbo enjoy their games!!!
  5. Still have one more left, so it's all yours! PM me your email address and I'll send it over...
  6. I just PM'd you. Send me your email address and the next copy is yours to love!
  7. @StamatisX - thanks for the rep. @mmskate13 - good to know about the mods. I mod games extensively... but so far, this one seems like it would be ruined by overpowered imbalance. But I do like the idea of unlimited money. That's fun in any world ;-)
  8. No problem. So that's leaves two more copies for those interested. Awesome game so far...
  9. I hastily made a Steam purchase without reviewing my order and ended up with four copies of Borderlands GOTY Edition (it's the weekend special). If anyone is interested in one of the three other copies, let me know. I'll "gift" it to you via Steam. Here's how that works: "You can send your gift to an e-mail address or you can select the recipient from one of your Friends in the Steam Community. If you are sending your gift to an e-mail address, please verify that you have typed the e-mail address in correctly. If the gift is not a surprise, we recommend verifying the address with the person you are gifting the game to in order to ensure that they receive the gift promptly." My profile name on Steam is "FunzoAge," or if you prefer, PM me your email address. I'm giving these away on a first-come-first-served basis. BYOB ;-) TMI P.S. I'm a little busy this weekend, so I may not be able to send out the 'gifts' right away...
  10. To be honest, I haven't been benching much lately, but my system has been very stable with the HyperX, 5% BIOS OC and occasional Throttlestop use. I bought the same memory you have in your sig in case I upgrade to the M18x down the road. No plans to do that just yet though...
  11. From what I heard, The Witcher was quite buggy when first released, but the enhanced edition resolved most/all issues. It does seem to have a fairly large fan-base, so it might be good to include (I haven't played it myself, but plan to). In the same genre, you could bench Dragon Age 2. It has a downloadable "texture-pack" and runs DX11. I'd be curious to see how it performs on the R3. Trying to think of another good sci-fi title...
  12. Brian, Just curious - is your current memory an aftermarket upgrade? If so, what brand?
  13. I read about reliability issues with the OCZ RAM I installed AFTER I ordered it, but figured all RAM experiences failures from time-to-time and hoped for the best. Now after this experience, I'll be looking at other brands. The RAM was fine until I started OC'ing more, which may be more than a coincidence. Kingston HyperX seems to get a good amount of support, so I will probably try that next if the price is right. I'd like to dish out more than a couple weeks of abuse
  14. The OS reinstall worked (at least so far...). I suspect registry/driver issues were created by the repeat BSOD's I was experiencing, but I'll never really know. I do know I've got some bad aftermarket RAM after only two months of use though, so it's time to get a return started. Hopefully my problems are fixed, and thanks to all who posted - +1 karma to all!
  15. Thanks for the ideas guys, but I've tried them all (and a few others) without success. I'm still getting stuck at the flashing Windows welcome screen and can't figure out why for the life of me. I'm going to go start a complete re-install of the OS... mw86 - I didn't realize 'repair installs' were an option until today. Awesome tip. I decided to start from scratch since I won't be losing too much data. Just kind of a pain in the *** ;-)
