OK forum there you go:

How to submit your scores

1. Make a post in this thread that will contain a screenshot, provide a link or your results if it is a 3DMark Vantage/11/06 run and post anything else you feel like mentioning for that particular run, i.e ambient temperatures, cooling method, etc...

2. Go to Forms and locate your laptop and then click on the benchmark you want to submit your results

3. Complete the form. The last question of the form will ask you to submit the link of either your post or the link of the screenshot you took (i.e [ URL]M17x-R2 benchmarking )

Note: You must type those tags (don't copy-paste them from this post, must be in capital letters, no spaces,) like the example above in order for the link to be clickable.

In case you want to edit or delete your submission or need assistance on how to submit your score check the guide here

Yea, as soon as I can have regualr internet access, I will definately be updating. I also was walking through the grocery store yesterday and noticed, they sell dry ice for $1.09/lb. I'm getting in on that as soon as I get my 6970's back. I just need to insulate the cards pretty well. Thinking I may just coat them in gummy art eraser to prevent any moisture build up.

Oh wish I had a store which sells dice just around the corner... I always have to take the train for about 40 min per way... and it costs more, lol.

Is there enough space beneath the heatsink for insulating the cards? Or do you have two pots?

Only one pot. Be nice if I had two. I normally just put the dice straight on the heatsink. Bit i tjonk that is what killed a 5870. Moisture.

In other news, I have a pair of 6990s on the way. :D I also have a second psu in my possession. Just waiting for aarpcard testing of his adaptor and ill be doing the same. Gotta find a way for the system to share the power load.

Damn that's nice! 6990s I am really interested about the PSU adapter as well. I was thinking to make one myself but have to find the appropriate connectors first... Maybe I should open a new thread so we can further look into it.

Yea, it'll be a lot of fun. Aarpcard made one but spliced into one psu to adapt the connector. I want to did a way to make one so no splicing is necessary. Maybe then resistance will remain uniform across both psu's.
