Clyde
This vbios is stock 1.012V on load and is perfect. http://forum.techinferno.com/attachments/general-notebook-discussions/5216d1350760256-k5000m.zip Just need to unlock core clock. svl7
Oh yeah, I forgot that your stock voltage was already higher... I can lower it if you prefer.

Clyde
I had more time and I could test it a little bit. NVIDIA Quadro K5000M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor,CLEVO P170HMx score: P8128 3DMarks NVIDIA Quadro K5000M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor,CLEVO P170HMx
Khenglish
Very nice clocks Clyde. Too bad it looks like your cooling cannot sustain that voltage. Judging by how fast the temp ramps up from your GPU-z graphs, I think running games/tests longer would hit 100C.
svl7
@Clyde: Did you flash the new mod? I reuploaded it, voltage should be lower.
Clyde
I did not have when look at. I just had a good time with 1.087V vbios. No artifacts, even over 1100/2500. Thank you very much svl7.

svl7
You must be kidding me.... 9300 GPU score? Seems as if I need to bench my card with that vbios.
Clyde
There is a crazy vbios. Excellent work svl7. It is unfortunate that despite the absence of any artifacts 3DMark11 crashes above 1140MHz. I regret do not have 2920XM already. It would be a chance for 10K.

Well I am just trying to find that out, but it looks as if a 220W PSU isn't enough to fire that VBIOS along with a 2960XM...LOL
Khenglish
Do you live up north? If so bench that thing outside!

Clyde
Do you live up north? If so bench that thing outside!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->I had a do not speak but whatever. I understand your frustration I heve the 580M in a drawer, but it's not my fault that nVidia have excellent cards last year. BTW in Poland is ~0 C outside. The cold is for free. If you only problem is the temperature you can use liquid nitrogen for cooling your card but do not show us the crappy results. Well I am just trying to find that out, but it looks as if a 220W PSU isn't enough to fire that VBIOS along with a 2960XM...LOL Just use 300W power supply from x7200. What maximum core frequency (for bench) did you obtain?
svl7
It is unfortunate that despite the absence of any artifacts 3DMark11 crashes above 1140MHz. Well,,, I could push it to 1.1v for you, but you already smashed my 680m record 1.1v should bring you some more MHz, maybe up to like +20MHz more, and maybe 0 more... but could be worth a try. If you can handle the temps, that is.
Clyde
After all I'm also not proud of my 680M. I would like to try out the 1.1V vbios. I hope that I'll could handle the temperature.
svl7
Hahaha, right, I'll see what I can do when I have my system back up running and everything set up. Should get my SSD replacement tomorrow.
