Using second gpu on sli setup

Hi, I got lenovo y500 with i7 and gt650m sli setup..the problem is not many games utilities sli nowadays. And when playing game my cpu throttle half of the base speed due to temp... any how can i used the 2nd gpu instead of the on board gpu so the cpu and gpu can have seperate cooling system?
