  1. Can anybody unlock the vBIOS for the MSI GTX870M with 3GB vRAM ? Here is my original Version. MSI GTX870M stock.zip
  2. you flash under DOS by using AFUDOS.exe with the following parameter : AFUDOS.exe E1762IMS.51X /p /b /n /k /r /x You can also use the Windows Version AFUWINx64.exe with the following parameter: afuwinx64.exe E1762IMS.51X /p /b /n /k /r /x /shutdown see in my attachment. This is the MS-1762 51x Bios with both Versions incl. the T24 EC Firmware, this you must also flash. You must only edit the flash.bat files to add the /x parameter. For the EC Firmware you must use : ENEF_030 /FLASH -E -B34c (nameofthefirmware) (here you must add the -E parameter!) 1762 51x.zip
  3. yes, i´ve flash the 51x on many barebones like a Medion. Than you must use the "/x" Parameter for the flash procedure.
  4. The 51x is not from svet, it´s from MSI. Here you have a big Thread with many MS-16F3 + GTX9**M User: The Official MSI GT60/70 970m/980m Upgrade Thread | Page 58 | NotebookReview
  5. Medion sold the MS-1763 with a GTX980M MEDION Erazer X7835 MD99062 17,3" FHD, Intel Core i7, 16GB, 1000GB + 256GB SSD, NVIIDA GeForce GTX 980M, Win8.1 bei notebooksbilliger.de and MSI sold the GT60 also with a GTX980M MSI Global GT60 2QE Dominator Pro 4K Edition All Parts of the GT72 are not compatible with the GT70. Only the GPU, RAM & HDD can be work. The Chase (MS-1781) is complete different. I think that the GTX980M works with the MS-1762, when you use the 51x Bios.
  6. You want use a Ivy Bridge CPU with a HM67 Chipset ? no Chance...
  7. Yes, the Sandy Bridge i7-2670QM works with the MS-16F3 or MS-1762 Motherboard, this i have tested. Because MSI has released the first GT60/GT70 Models with this i7. I´ve also tested an i5-2410M, this CPU don´t work with both Motherboards. As for the upgrade to GTX9 ** M, since I can not help you because I just know it works the GTX970M, but there are probably different VBIOS version of the Clevo cards, run some, others do not. So it has confirmed my friend from Germany MSI forum. Your Power Sensor Board of the GT70 has more pins, as well as the motherboard. You get the device still on the old board, but must it waive the remaining keys. I myself have e.g. a long time operated a GT70 sensor board at an MS-16F2 Motherboard (10 vs 16 pin). The reason for this is added by Optimus, because the GT70 changes the power button color, depending on which GPU is active. The same applies to the HDD1 Board (besides the GPU), the MS-1761 has fewer pins as in the MS-1762 because it also mSATA SSDs can operate via adapter from the GT70. The Board has HDD2 the MS-1761 yet the connection for the two right-hand USB, this is the MS-1762 now on the mainboard itself. The HDD2 Board can be compatible, it have same Pins, but i´ve tested my old HDD2 Board from the MS-16F2 and another MS-1761 HDD2 Board, both don´t work. btw: MS-16F2 = MS-1761 MS-16F3 = MS-1762 MS-16F4 = MS-1763
  8. This is not so easy ... technically the MS-1763 / 16F4 motherboard fits into the MS-1761 barebone, but only with a Dremel. For the Haswell generation MSI has placed 2 Displaysports instead of the eSATA port on the mainboard. Furthermore, you need the following attachments: Power sensor board including data cable = about $ 60-100 HDD1 board MS-1763A / MS 16F4A = about $ 40 HDD2 board MS-1763C / MS 16F4C = about $ 60 Processor: i7-4700MQ = approx $ 200 But the parts are very hard to find. somewhat easier it is to go to the Ivy Bridge generation. There is the Motherboard from $130 and there have also the eSATA Port (esteem, there are also versions with a DisplayPort.). The attachments are also needed, but to get something cheaper. You can also use your Sandy Bridge CPU with the MS-16F3. Recently, I myself have performed such an upgrade from MS-16F2 to MS-16F3 and I paid about $ 250 for everything.

    Heatsink 880M

You can´t use your old heatsink, you need a new one. this is the best heatsink for the GTX880M. New MSI MEDION Heat Sink nVidia GTX780 GTX770 E31-0406580-Y31 | eBay
  10. @unityole all H Series CPU´s are BGA... i7-4720HQ, i5-4210H, i7-4890HQ etc... When you have other questions, i had the GT80 here for testing, directly from MSI, because i´m Moderator from the german MSI Forum. Here is our short german Test: Das MSI GT80 Titan im Überblick und Erfahrungen - Neue MSI-Hardware - MSI Forum
  11. The Dell GTX770M is not compatible with the MSI GT780DX. Only the Clevo (with mod inf) and the MSI (without any modification) will be work. You need als another Heatsink.
  12. Ivy Bridge CPU´s are not compatible with your MS-1761 Motherboard.
  13. i think that your videocard is broken. The MSI GTX770M works plug&play in your MS-16F2 without any driver modification. i use this constellation self about 1 year. You can send me the GTX770M, than i can test the Card in a MS-16F3 and in a MS-1762. But i´m from Germany, the shippingcost are very expensive.
  14. Ah, you've got the 2nd card from 5482741 I bought the first, but unfortunately it is not there yet ... USPS has made a mistake and sent the package as not to be tracked mail, although it was sent as a package , on December 23, it was sent, let's see when it arrives. you need 0.5mm for the vRAM and 1mm for the voltage converter, at this point can the 0.5mm also work...
  15. the MSI GTX870M is 100% compatible. but you need another heatsink for this Card. This : New MSI MEDION Heat Sink nVidia GTX780 GTX770 E31-0406580-Y31 | eBay or this New MSI MEDION Heat Sink nVidia GTX670MX GTX675MX GTX680M E31-0406162-Y31 | eBay without CPU Bridge
  16. from where you get now the GTX970M ? Maybe i upgrade my GTX770M to a GTX970M btw: nice Bios Date ! Are you from the future ?
  17. hmm freeze... that sounds not good. normaly works the 51x perfect with all GT70 and GT60 (than with T18 EC Firmware) 0N* Devices... i use this Bios also. Try to flash without GTX675M. But i think, your GPU is is slowly dying.
  18. And you have all other parts which you need ? The HDD1 and the HDD2 adapter aswell the powersensorboard are different to the GT70. comatible are: for HDD1: MS-1762A/MS-16F3A for HDD2: MS-1762C/MS-16F3C and the Sensorbar from GT70/GX70. When you dont find the Cable between Sensorbar and Motherboard, than you can use the long Touchpad cable, this fit also perfect (i use this ) in some revisions works your MS-1761A Adapter also. i´ve tested the MS-16F2A from my old Motherboard but the MS-16F31 will not start (no Power!)
  19. that was a misstake from me, msi use also the 1.0. my aliexpress seller has say this: "VER: 2.0 and VER: 2.1 keyboard is generic" and he mean, i can´t use a fullcolor backlight keyboard with this revision... that sound like whitebook version, because they have only blue backlight keyboards. it give no difference between MS-16F31 and MS-17621. But it gives many different MS-16F31 versions... some with/without backlight Keyboard connector, some with/without connector for the 2x USB Board (the GT60 has no 2x USB Board), some with a Displayport instead the esata. The link from me show the Version incl. esata, USB connector and backlight Keyboard connector. This is a original MSI Board. I use this board in a MSI GT70 0NC Chassie and it works perfect. Only the Turbobutton don´t work, but this is a problem from the GTX770M & GTX780M.
  20. Ok, this is not a MSI Retails Motherboard, it´s for a Medion or other Whitebook Reseller 1. no fullcolor Backlight Keyboard Support, only Blue Keyboards will be work 2. no MSI Bootscreen, no DynAudio @ Bootscreen (only in CMS/Legacy Mode, not in UEFI) 3. Motherboard Revision is 2.1, only 1.0 and 1.1 are MSI. 4. no MSI Bios Support. 5. no DynAudio Support (look Attachment) i hope the GTX780M works good with the 30u, because you have no chance to use the 51x. Sorry, i´m from Germany, korean is not my language You can try to send the Motherboard back to the Seller. Than you can buy this: For MSI MS 16F31 VER 1.0 system motherboard For MSI GT60 Model mainboard Professional wholesale 100%tested ok-in Motherboards from Electronics on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group this is a 100% original MSI Motherboard, because i´ve buy this and it works perfekt @ all
  21. Mhh, no MSI Logo, that sounds like a non-MSI Board. The 51x is normaly only for MSI Motherboards. 1. Which Color has your Backlight Keyboard with the MS-1762 ? 2. Was this connector onboard ? Can you give me the Aliexpress Link from where you buy ? From where you are ? Maybe we can talk in your own language
  22. Hmm, when you See the first BIOS screen, do you See DynAudio on the right side? Normaly works the 51x perfect with the ms-1762. do you get also a black screen without the gtx780m?
  23. Yes, ahci and RAID. Also uefi and legacy mode are avaible. 0nc and 0nd are the same, only the GPU is the different. Sandy and ivy bridge CPUs are supportet, i use this Version with a gt60 motherboard incl. an i7-2670qm Sandy bridge.
  24. i use also the 51x Bios with a i7-2670QM Processor. But i have MS-16F31 GT60 Motherboard... is your Motherboard from a MSI or from a Barebone device ?
  25. Try the newset Beta Bios from MSI. 1762 51x.zip
