  1. Just proving it can be done. The 4.5Ghz 30k Vantage CPU score barrier has been broken. Dell are coming tomorrow with my new 580m GTX (3rd one LOL!) and I look forward to rocking out and maybe breaking that 21k overall mark

  2. You need more voltage on that card deadbydawn. Since you're in switzerland, you should go visit svl7 so he can mod the card for you

  3. With 3DM11, the scores are hardly affected by CPU (Physics) speed. My last run was around 4800 and another run was similar but the CPU score was way down. It doesn't make any difference. However I am happy to say that @4.4Ghz the 10k physics score in 3DM11 can be broken. @mw86 My settings were 960 priplane/120amps, 99w TDP with short limit disabled, 10flex. It does the job for what I want

  4. I'm not sure if that can be changed individually. I'll have to check. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk Edit: Ok I installed an adaptive ticket plugin that will change the amt of tickets based on # players on the server. So it will no longer be fixed at 1000 tickets (250% of base) anymore. The default tickets is 400 for the server so here are the new settings (% of default 400):

  6. i knew you could do it. You've been running with the big dogs way to go Widezu youve got one of the fastest M17x R3 out there for purposes of seeing what your chipcan support if you reference my 2920xm chart it may help make quick test easier since i show what flex etc supports what... Start high on flex and drop it from whatever overclock range you try... That is if you wanted to see if the chip supports over 4.5ghz not talking gaming or 8 thread just in general maybe you can get to 4.9ghz easily wonderful bench score. Deadlybydawn nice congrats switching cards was indeed a very worthwile endeavor. Looking good on overclock my max was 848-850 core ever and 1215 mem... My 5870m's i had were sexy Im sure Stamatisx agrees they kick ass. Mem i got easily to 1235 on them and since they supported overvolt... DR650SE got his to over 1ghz core... Must be world record a 1ghz last gen mobile gpu FTW!

  7. I'm not sure if it's the avatar that gets you banned, but I think it's more the nature of the posts. Generally they follow a set pattern. Let me know if I'm missing any here. These are the ones I know of so far. patrick.parisi, scarletfire92, usmc362, foxfire_68, cts_v59, ravenite72, comfycakes, Thumper_12, suffolkcounty. 8. If the old one overclocks more then the new one, then no harm in swapping. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk

  12. If I had these types of issues I would be driving to Miami FL headquarters for Alienware and taking it to there door. Many years ago I ordered an alien and the FedEx guy came to my door and said your sending this back, inside the box you could hear parts rattle around. Turns out FedEx damaged it and I got my money back only after my friend said he was my lawyer. Hope you get your system back or your money. Sad they can't uphold their own warranty.
