Thumper_23
Well, I'm loving my new Sager 9570 and this is from a guy who's been an Alienware owner for 10 years. I got a new Alienware 18 a few weeks ago and with all the Cpu issues and the SecureFlash on the Bios, I sent it back for a full refund. My beast has a 4930K, 780M SLI, dual Psus, 16Gb 1600MHz. quad channel ram, Killer Wireless N 1202. Just waiting on Premas unlocked bios to come out of beta testing.
Khenglish
Yeah that laptop does sound cool. The IVB-E just puts that in a class of it's own. I don't get why they are so thick though. It uses the same fans as the P370SM, so I feel like it shouldn't be any fatter. The main deterrent (besides cost) of me getting a laptop like that is how huge it is. With the 2 Cpu fans and 2 Gpu fans this thing never even gets warm on my lap where the AW18 would actually put red marks on my legs even with pants on. My Cpu temp at idle is mid 30's to low 40's. It's just as heavy as the 18 but for some reason it doesn't feel it. This thing has excellent build quality and a good solid feel. And the keyboard is also great to type on with almost 0 flex. fenix
That sounds fantastic! I just ordered mine yesterday with virtually identical specs except with the Intel wireless adapter as opposed to the Killer. Hopefully it's not too much of a compromise in performance. How is the screen on that thing? I originally wanted the 120hz matte but it was removed, so it looks like I'll be 'settling' for the glossy. Hopefully it turns out to be a blessing in disguise! Also, have you tried modifying the vBios on those 780M's? I bet they run like heaven

AdamJP
Hello guys, I am a very happy owner of the NP9570, had to fight a little with the audio settings to get it right but now that I've done that I really can't complain! One thing I'm a little worried about is the GPU fan. During very stressing game sessions my GPU reaches 78/80 degrees and the heat it's pretty uncomfortable on my left hand and wrist. Looks like the fan doesn't kick in at full speed. Does it happen to you too? Thank you in advance for the help!
