  3. 1. Try go in bios setup menu and set "Default Settings", then save and exit. 2. Try completely disable laptop (push and hold "Power on" button). Disconnect power supply, disconnect battery, push and hold "Power on" button, wait 3-5 min, and then connect battery and power supply. 3. Download and install the program DDU(NVidia drivers uninstaller). Run it and completely uninstall NVIDIA drivers. Reboot laptop and install NVIDIA drivers again. 4. Uninstall NVIDIA Inspector, reboot laptop and install it again.
  4. No, for this processor, overclock is impossible.
  5. After flash mod vbios from another vendor, just use mod inf file for Install NVIDIA drivers. Or use mod vbios for MSi card (not for Clevo). You can find it here: http://forum.techinferno.com/general-notebook-discussions/1847-nvidia-kepler-vbios-mods-overclocking-editions-modified-clocks-voltage-tweaks-511.html
  6. Guide on how to apply a custom bios to unlock graphic card: http://forum.techinferno.com/nvidia-video-cards/2166-%5Bguide%5D-nvidia-vbios-flashing.html
  7. Unlocked bios for your laptop you can download on the first page of this thread.

    MSI GT70 ONE boot issue

If this happened after you try flash the bios, then you need reflash the bios with programmer device. Unlocked bios doesn't help in this case.
  10. What kind of BIOS you ask? What the model of your laptop? Your fan now constantly running at full speed?

    GT70 2PC fan problem

Try reflash EC firmware for you model from MSI website. And after that, reset EC. Disconnect power adapter, disconnect battery, press and hold power button (5-10 sec). Wait 10 min, then connect battery and power adapter, and start laptop.
  12. May be someone replaced correct BIOS chip from 25Q64 to 25Q32? In any case now you can solder correct bios chip.
  13. You have found the chip for EC firmware (not for bios). Just search again. Both chips (for EC firmware and for bios) marked with color dot, chip for bios slightly larger.
  14. Yes. Thanks, but with opened both strings.
  15. Could you please make a photo of screen in Bios Setup menu, on the page CHIPSET?
  16. No, for upgrade to 8xx or 9xx cards you need 51X bios.
  17. Yes, if you use programmer device, and damaged Bios size 8MB (not 6MB). And in this case laptop will work, but you will lost your personal data (MAC adress, Serial Number, Windows keys, etc...). In your case whole bios 8MB can be flashed only with programmer device.
  18. "Does it mean that the whole bios is just a SIMPLE concatenation of the first 2MB + 6 MB Asus stock Bios?" Yes. But in simple case you can flash whole 8MB bios only with programmer device. Because in descriptor sitting protection against flash first 2MB. And in this case you will lost your personal data (MAC adress, Serial Number, Windows keys, etc...). Because 6MB bios from Asus website doesn't contains your personal data. This personal data sitting in your native backup of bios 6MB. "Or during normal flash, the 6 MB Bios will be splitted into multiple parts and written into several region inside the 8 MB." No. "Is this 6MB Bios = 6 MB Asus stock Bios?" No. The flashing programs which use Asus (WinFlash, afudos or afuwin) flashes only some areas in 6MB bios, and doesn't touch areas where sitting your personal data.
  19. Sensitive settings (SLIC, MAC adresse, Serial Number ...) siting in 6 MB Bios. Whole bios dump 8 MB contains in first 2 MB: Descriptor, GBE, ME. Other 6MB it is Bios region.
