  1. You can create backup of your bios from your laptop, and then unlock hidden menus and settings with program AMIBCP.
  2. It depends on what the CPU in your laptop. If your CPU is i5 4200M, then you can't enable VT-D.
  3. I think that you can try use mnvflash from the first post of this thread. Also you can try uninstall NVIDIA drivers, reboot and then try use GPU-Z.
  4. No, if GPU in your laptop is a bga soldered onto the motherboard, then you need specific vbios for non MXM card, based on your stock vbios from your laptop.

  7. 1. Completely uninstall MSI Afterburner with all settings. Reboot laptop. 2. Completely uninstall EVGA Precision X with all settings. Reboot laptop. 3. Download the program DDU (NVIDIA drivers uninstaller), run it and completely uninstall NVIDIA drivers. 4. Download and install NVIDIA drivers version 359.06 with option "Clean install". 5. Reboot laptop. 6. Go in bios setup menu and on the last page "Save and Exit" set "Default Settings", then F10, then Enter. 7. Install NVIDIA Inspector and use it for overclock.
  8. Dont forget about power adapter. 240, 330 Watt. GTX 880M is very hungry and hot card, especialy with overclock.

  13. No, it's for GT60_70_GTX980M_8GB_MXM_OC_PM and for GT60_70_GTX970M_6GB_MXM_OC_PM GTX980M 4GB has different vbios.

If someone want upgrade Wi-Fi card and remove whitelist, or unlock hidden advanced menu and settings in bios setup menu, or unlock vbios for overclock NVIDIA card, then you can post your request in this thread.
  17. Changes to a systems BIOS or UEFI may cause the system to boot abnormally. If you are having trouble booting your system, you may try to reset your BIOS/UEFI settings to default. 1. Try connect external monitor or TV. or 1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down. 2. Power on the system.
