  1. I've got an ASUS MT276H 27"at the moment, but I got a killer deal on 2x samsung 305T 30" IPS monitors, the current plan is to see how one of those is, and possibly order a dell u3011 for 30" surround gaming.
  2. Reusing some parts (case, storage, watercooling etcetera), but as a general - Mobo/cpu/hdd/ram/psu ~$1400AUD 2 x 580 - $800AUD (2nd hand, less than a month old)
  3. Michael is right IMO, sounds like you need a new screen.
  4. Still doing some research on that, any ideas?
  5. We'll see I guess..... From what I've heard (tri-gate transistors or some such babble) It could be 30-40% faster.
  6. Candy metalflake Why go subtle? These guys, their paint is just stunning HouseofKolor.com online shopping from the worldwide leader in the paint and coatings industry. EDIT: From the three above, definitely green IMO, yellow is cool but you've already done that. Paint another one yellow and people will start to expect it.
  7. I did go for the 2600, but I'll be upgrading again soon enough anyway, the original plan was to wait for X79, but then my old rig started to struggle... so meh. Anyone want a cheap 2600k in around 6-8 months? I promise it's never been overclocked (past 5.4ghz ).
  8. That bit in the bottom is a phase-change unit, basically a fairly powerful refrigerator that concentrates all the cooling power on the 2" square of copper on the end of the flex line. Can hold a 300w heatload at -40C to allow for sub zero 24/7 cooling. The same case is available without it for ~$500AUD.
  9. Time for some Aussie flavour They're not strictly speaking Aussies, but we like to claim them anyway
  10. Thinking about this for a new case, questions/comments/ideas are MORE than welcome. It'd match my M18 also. PC case with water cooling + Phase Change Sub-Zero Red | eBay
  11. That is the max I believe, unless I reflash the cards with a new BIOS. That's one of the things I'm not 100% on how to do.
  12. Yeah, I'm getting pretty close to the limit. 10mhz more on the gpus and it crashes every time. They'll be going under water soon, so that might help a little. Might even add a third card to show the 590/6990 boys who's boss. LOL. I'm thinking about going phase-change on the cpu, 5.2/5.3GHz seems to be the ceiling for now, without going crazy with Vcore anyway.
  13. That.... is atrocious..... Best of luck, and thanks for keeping us updated, speaking as someone who just paid for a 4 year premium warranty, this is important to know.
  14. You request, I supply.
  15. Some new benching action Vantage/11 without gpu physx as requested, let me know anything else I can run for you guys, I love it. Don't seem to have tesselation as an option though... And some new PB's, WOOT for 5.3GHz, unfortunately it's only stable for wprime -
  16. Yes, October 25th, no real word on spec needed yet. Watch this if you haven't seen it, max the quality and watch it fullscreen.
  17. Nope. I can rerun with that config if you like.
  18. Ok, SLI is now officially working! As a bonus, the card that got replaced has magically come back as a 3gb version. So if I do need to upgrade for my insane new resolution, then I've already got one. :D Not a bad starting point if you ask me....
  19. If it's like 2033, then kind of - It has a theme, but it lacks most of the RPG element of fallout, more of a pure shooter.
  20. Not tried it myself, looks like a good alternative to thermal pads though. Arctic intros the G-1 'thermal glue' | News | TechConnect Magazine
  21. The tagline thingy that @Michael uses got me thinking, then I found this. T-shirt anyone? Bumper sticker maybe? I think the truckers hat is my personal favorite. Urban Dictionary: Deflowered t-shirts, mugs and magnets
  22. Not received yet, you'll definitely know when I get it. Probably going to use my old vertex 2 in it, can't justify having an ssd just sitting around, even if it is slightly slower than the 3.
