bif we don't flame in here, this forums are made and run by very intelligent and mature people(not trying to flame NBR) As a member of TI I always welcome interesting discussion topics especially if the push the envelope. Now As Stam said it would be very difficult for a manufacturer just to make you a custom board. Companies that do that probably want a 10 thousand units order to even consider it because they cost and overhead. Your best bet would be to find a company that makes prototype motherboards(if such company exist) And talk to them, but not sure how successful would it be being that you will only need one board, unless of course you decide to open your own Exotic notebook boutique. Well after some delay let me show you what I am currently listening to. There is this radio Show called Trance around the world with above and beyond. Every week he brings the best trance, dance and house. This is by far the best radio show (cd quality) I hear in years. The show last around 2 hours and is mostly all mixed. Here is a sample of it. Thank you Stam I found it, it same as the m17x so no issue there. This is the first time I am using keyboard/touchpad and I have t say i am impress, i like it.

Hi guys I am on the road again. I have a quick question to all the m18x owners, did we loose the scroll bar on the touchpad? I remember the m17x-R1 had one, or do i need to enable this function on the mouse control panel? Any input is most welcome.

is been almost 2 weeks since I got my M18x-R1 and I can honestly say this machine is more than I hoped for. I mean I am Baffled with how easy and smooth this machine allows me to work or relax. I keep throwing stuff at it and it has yet to choke on anything. From running my game while listen to music and the quick web browsing session in mufti task is just smooth sailing. I wanted just to share it with you guys, this is a great machine, and I haven't even calibrated the monitor! And on a side note to Mw86 I plunged in my Koss headphones to it and it sounds is like the floor at the LA palladium! all I need now is to find that plug in for win amp so my machine dances to the rhythm of trance music I been playing non stop all weekend.

mw86 I been working in audio professionally for about 20 years, let me give you some advice. Sony products are good when it came to TV's and stereos, their Headsets are decent but nothing that commands that price. I am just being honest, if you really are looking to spend that much money on a headset might I recommend you go to the AKG website AKG START and read about their products, those are true reference True studio products, not make pretend studio where the pump up the bass and call it pro series. Any of those headphones like Beats(drDre), SkullCandy, Sony and most of the brands you find at BestBuy are not that good(close to useless), they consumer electronics, you know, for people who only buy for how it looks, not for how it sounds(no phun intended) The only decent Headset I got at BestBuy where the Koss, and those where like 50 bucks.

Hi JapzT welcome to TI, when it comes to the sound in the M18x I believe is pretty decent, hardware based you got the Klipsch speakers which by their own right are pretty decent. Software base as usual there is an IDT sound drive enhance with the sound blaster software branded under Dell if you payed the extra 20 bucks(which I did) . Now off course if you need something better like the M-Audio usb external sound cards or you can pick up the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Go! for like $39 us. Hope it helps.

lol you guys seems to forget that to swim in Monterrey Bay you need a Body Glove, it has same weather as San Francisco and water is usually cold. In the upside the Monterrey Aquarium is there and is really cool, not to mention a nice number of restaurants
