wow just realized that you would have to strip the M14x down to the mobo just to repaste, holy hell

don't have an M14x but from my experience with M15x, M17x-r2 and M17x-r3, most coolers will do little to nothing to help with temps. how ever propping up the back end will help maintain a cooler temp overall. what i highly suggest is repasting and repadding.

just been downloading steam games for the last couple of days with no issues.

i just used the driver i sent ya and disabled the connection manager, now everything is good for me.

Currently using my EVO-4g as my WiFi. Yeah I think more testing needs to be done too. For now I've seem to have it under control with only lag spikes to 300+-. Also I disabled the killer WiFi manager in the start-up menu too which seems to help abit too.

just started playing yesterday, pretty good game. now i just got to figure out how to get my wife and kid to leave me alone long enough to enjoy it. lolz and awesome tutorial bro, definitely trying this out once i pass a few levels.

yeah thats with the clean install, install the killer driver and bam!!! crazy spikes!!! uninstall and back to normal. so i downloaded the latest driver directly from bigfoot and its much better now only spiking to 2k every now and then. so stay away from the official dell version.

dude this sucks bro. had a similiar issue when i had the 6970. mostly after switching from igp to discrete, but for me a reboot always fixes it. you prolly already tried reflashing the card i'm guessing, see if you can change the 3d clocks to a slightly different numbers and reflash. i really hate seeing the dice going to waste.
