OMG is it truly fun to do this....I had never heard of it till talking with Sarge about it. Now Im HOOKED!!!! If there is not one in your area you can always be the first to start one. Hell we have so many here its been hard to find a good location to drop our cache. anyways yall need to try this esp. those of you that are the outdoorsy types hehe great exercise great fam time and just all around fun!

I myself just got my M14x for Christmas and Im loving it. Its my first alien so I can not compare it to anything else however, I can tell you that its a great little machine. My graphics are amazing nothing in comparison to my husbands M17x of course but for this machine they are wonderful. My battery life depends on what Im doing on it. when playing BF3 I have to be plugged in which can be a bit of a bother but not much. I get around 4 hours battery for regular everyday usage such as emails FB or any little thing I do. I myself have not had any problem with on the go things. I use this for everything from gaming to watching movies to well everything LOL I do not see that you would have an issue with this upgrade. I of course am Just speaking for my machine and what I can do with it. There are others on here way more educated and more sure of what you are looking for them I so please dont just take my word on this. I personaly love my m14x and would not trade it for anything. Its weight and size is perfect for me and if you are an on the go sort of person this would be better then the m17x on that scale. ( my husband has the m17 and its a beast where weight is concerned LOL) Good luck with your choice and I hope this helped some.

Ok so Im Madder than a bobcat caught in a piss fire. I have installed BF3 bought a key for it and now cant get the damn thing to load or nothing was going to do a solo run thru get use to keys etc but nope cant get the fucker to load ...... any advice???

Im not sure if I should of started a thread on this or not so if Im in the wrong spot plz feel free to let me know and move/ delete this post but....... I was wondering if anyone has been having issues with their batteries?? I can have a full charge unplug it and only have aprox. 2 1/2 hours Battery time. When reading about this particular model it stated I should have up to 6 hours battery time. Im not even getting half of that. any suggestions? My settings are all set to balanced so I know its not that. Thanks for the input SGT. MAJ. Wifey Edit: when using battery Im not gaming or doing anything that would cause such a huge drop in battery life at all. nothing more than checking email or reading a book or facebook. So Im not understanding why the crappy battery life

so ok Im uber new to the gaming scene so I may end up having a lot of questions in the end LOL but for now my main concern is when playing COH (city of hereos) my screen starts to blink out on me. it does this several times and Im not sure why....could it be that I have things set to switch auto from one vid card to the other depending on the game and what it needs to run? or is there something else going on? Its becoming annoying as hell LOL thanks for any feedback ya can give

Just an update on the service from Dell/Alienware.... They called us again last night to make sure we got our items and were happy with them and if we had any questions etc. I was impressed and surprised that they did this. I hope they are doing this with all orders now because it puts a person at ease knowing whats going on and what to expect.

Thank you Steve, I do have a question for you actually since I hear your the man to go to for the M14 on the left side of mine the palm rest is loose for some reason if you push on it you can feel like a give to it. It feels like it is missing a screw perhaps I'm not sure and am so afraid to take this baby apart LOL do you know if this is normal or is it something I need to look further into?

His is due in tomorrow so I know he is stoked! I play City of Heroes under the same name as here. Im also going to be starting Americas Army and maybe Call of Duty not sure yet on that one...its one of Sarg's gifts so he has first play on it HEHE.
