  1. Thanks for the profile Geo! Looks good even on my crappy 1600x900p screen. Can't wait for the 1080p screen!! I'll be getting one soon for sure.
  2. I have seen someone on nbr runnning 32gb. I'm sure it will run at 1600mhz if you buy the proper stuff. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 running Resurrection Remix
  3. Just watch the tech like a hawk and make sure they know what they are doing.

    Welcome to the forums
  5. Good luck!! I'm still waiting on a reply from them (guess they still need to verify my warranty). Been over a week since I originally fried the machine.
  6. So far it seems like the AW social media people are a whole separate group from the regular alienware phone tech support. The Social media people are based in Florida I think as well.
  7. Alright I'll try for that whenever AWFlorida Tries to call me. Thanks for the advice will post again when I have a reply.
  8. They haven't called back yet, but I'm assuming that's the only other thing that can happen other than a replacement. I don't know if anything besides the mobo and keyboard got fried and I'd rather not have to wait another few days for more parts if that is the case.
  9. Yup the guys monitoring the social media know what they are doing. Been in contact with them for the last week or so after I fried my r3 due to a liquid spill incident, and then they proceeded to tell me my extended warranty I paid for expired. I had to go back through and find the invoice and send it to them and they finally fixed that. Now just waiting to see what they decide to do with my machine. Really hope I can push for a replacement as I've been without my machine for a week now due to the warranty fiasco and I have had some issues with the depot in the past.
  10. Good to know and thanks for the info it would be nice of this gets resolved soon, but I don't have my hopes up Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 using tapatalk 2
  11. I doubt its gonna get fixed either. AMD and Logitech will probably just play the blame game. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 using tapatalk 2
  12. Now if somebody always has a AMD switching issue I always ask if they happen to have a logitech mouse or keyboard. So far the answer has only been yes and the only fix I have seen is to just uninstall the drivers.
  13. Been seeing a lot of people with the same problems on NBR. Wish there was an easy fix. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 using tapatalk 2
  14. 7970m looks like quite the beast of a card since my buddy obtained an QS version. Might have to pick one up here soon as It looks to be a 30%-60% in power.
  15. According to one of my buddies that just got one, the 7970m "does 5384 3dmark11's STOCK. That's zero OC on the CPU and GPU." From what I understand it will be able to overclock pretty high and possibly overvolt as well. Looks like this will be the card to get for a while. Might have to pick one up myself at some point.
  16. looks like the 7970m and the 675m are gonna be ready to release here soon(no surprise). Doesn't look like alienware is waiting for ivy bridge either.
  17. Yea im betting it was the logitech driver that the issue was with as I have never had issues with any of the windows updates.
  18. ah I don't have a logitech mouse so it doesn't affect me. Ill try putting on the razer drivers for my razer orochi and see if I similar problems.
  19. Thats pretty sweet dude, that testing system is pretty awesome. I might have to try it sometime.
  20. Not sure if that's the problem or not considering my system switches between cards fine and its all up to date with windows. Guess it doesn't hurt to try though. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 using tapatalk 2
  21. Geocake and widezu haven't had any issues yet, but that's with a single card system. A guy on nbr that's got a replacement M18x coming is gonna flash his current machine before he sends it back. I'll let you guys know what happens. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 using tapatalk 2
