No Blindflash for GT70. MSI offers a Bios repair Service for this,but i think You damage Your Board and MSI wouldn`t flash it now with replaced Bios Chip. Then You need a new Motherboard. Is Your Board a MS-1762 or MS-1763 ?

That`s right,but for everyone who can flash a Vbios and modify a Heatsink it is cheaper. With a GTX 970M You can use every Heatsink,also the GTX 570M Heatsink is OK because the Temperatur are low.

Why he needed to use modded Driver when he can use the MSI Vbios? Here You can see the different Heatsinks for Nvidia GPU`s and the Modification for a GTX 970M / GTX 980M. The cheapest Way is to modify Your own Heatsink from Your GTX 560M,ist only a little work. I think You don`t want buy a Heatsink for this Money like this on Ebay: 272144365752 All Heatsinks in my Picture fits in every MS-16F1 / MS-16F2 / MS-16F3 / MS-16F4 / MS-1761 / MS-1762 / MS-1763 Red : Remove Green: Upholster with Thermalpads Blue: Thermalpaste

Hello GTX 970M is possible in MS-16F2,i tried it with a Clevo Card and modded Driver. You can also flash the MSI Vbios,but You must take Care that You use the right one. From MSI it gives two GTX 980M,one with 4GB and one with 8GB

My Expirience is that only the HD7970M Revision 1.2 works in MS-1761. I tried it with two HD7970M Revision 1.1 and Clevo Non Enduro Vbios and it don`t works,the Notebook starts with Blackscreen into Windows. And all Expiroiences of other People i know are the same as mine-maybe some other People know it better.

MS-16F1 is not MS-16F2/MS-1761 In MS-16F1 works also all Kepler GK104 like GTX 670MX -GTX 880M and all Quadro KxxxM on the same Chip,in MS-16F2/MS-1761 they dosn`t work. Two of my Friends have a GX660 with Quadro K3000M,the Power is better than a GTX 580M/GTX675M

This Card works only when it is a Revision 1.2 with Clevo Non Enduro Vbios. All other HD7970M are not working,if You are lucky it starts into Windows with Blackscreen.

Yes,but a cheap K3000M is faster and You can get a MSI Vbios for it. The K3000M makes 3300 Points in 3Dmark with 824MHz as Standart and 3600 Points with 900MHz. Yes, You can replace it,but the Card need modified Driver. MSI never use this Card.

Hello Here some Cards over GTX 460M which work in MS-16F1: GTX 570M, GTX 580M, GTX 670M, GTX 675M GTX 765M,with modded Driver, GTX 770M GTX 970M, GTX 980M HD6970M HD6990M HD7970M,Revison 1.2 with Non Endur Vbios only For all Cards You need another and different Heatsinks. All Kepler Cards like GTX 670MX,GTX 675MX,GTX680M,GTX 870m,GTX 780,GTX 880M and all quadro Cards like KxxxM are not working.

The GTX 980M works with all old Chipsets(MS-16F1-MS-16F4/MS-1761-MS-1763) The Poweradapter bottleneck,the GTX 980M needs to much Power. GTX 970M is the better Choise,only little Throttling.

It is a seperate Chip,it starts before the Bios.

That the K5000M and GTX680M works in MS-16F2 You must show me ,this is a Kepler GK104 Chip. GK104 Chip don`t work in this Barebone.

GTX 980M ist the fastest GPU You can use,You only need to flash the Vbios if it is not a MSI Card. You can use the old Heatsink,but this must be modified. The GTX 970M ist the better Choise,GTX 980M needs to much Power.

The Problem is i think the EC-Firmware from the MS-1761,it locks the Power maximum at 180W. And the MS-1761 dosn`t have Hybrid Power,i think the GTX 970M ist the better Choise. The GTX 970M have also throttling,but not so much and only when it need Full Power. The Dell 230W Power Supply helps a little,but the Different in 3Dmark11 was 200 Points. Nearly Nothing

The Problem is the Dell Vbios,i think than You have no Way to use Quadro there. Maybe You find a Card with Clevo Vbios,but i think Clevo never use this Card. Why You want use a Quadro in this Barebone? You need this for Cad? The Card ist very slowly,every GTX 570M is faster.

GTX 970M/GTX 980M work in MS-16F2 MS-1761 With MSI Vbios it is Plug&Play.

I think Your 3000M is from Dell. You must look for a Clevo Card.
