I'm getting the I/O error when I try to run G:\nvflash -6 55.rom (I saved it to G). The file name is less than 8 characters, I've read the forums and so far everyone with that problem has had it fixed by renaming. Nu-uh xD. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Lenovo Y410p / Y510p - unlocked BIOS / wlan whitelist mod / vbios mod

I cannot make a backup of my BIOS. I run the fptw program as an admin, but some red text appears and the window quickly closes. I also get an error saying that I'm missing some file sometimes. Please help; I bought a subscription for this and it is utterly useless. -
I cannot back up my BIOS. I first get error 200, and then I cannot run backup as an administrator. Can someone please post a step by step process or even a video walking through? I'd really like to get this resolved, I paid $5 to get this file and so far NONE of what I've tried to do has worked. Oh yeah also the DOS stick creator won't work. Help me!!!

My control panel does not seem to have any option above the standard 60. I have the SLI GT755M, so it should be there. Also, this might be related; my Intel HD panel will not open period, and I cannot reinstall.

A little off topic but I didn't want to make a new thread; if I only ordered the 8gb ssd version is there any way to add a cache ssd? I know it's missing some sort of adapter but it does have a port on the motherboard, so some sort of thing should work, I just don't know what. Thanks.

Using YUMI i created a boot drive for multiple distros of Linux. After changing my BIOS to allow a boot from USB, it will not actually boot or go to the YUMI screen, it just displays Syslinux copyright information. Any ideas?

If you use RAM with auto-overclock, it should work with it. The CPU is "max" 1600 but it can be overclocked by something like Corsair Vengeance. I have faster sticks in mine and it works, there's no BIOS issue or anything.
