I have a friendly computer service, that has a qualified technicians and equipment. http://www.aid-serwis.com.pl/

svl7, It was installed memory chips with 0.4 ns access time (K4G20325FD-FC04) and I used a 0.3 ns memory chips (K4G20325FD-FC03). I changed nothing in the vbios because I do not know how. I'm not sure if it is a problem? Both memory chip works with 1.35V and 1.5V voltage. I think it will not hurt to slightly lower memory access times and raise voltage if possible. Could you do it with Clevo and MSI OC/OV vbios? If that does not help I exchange the MOSFETs.

Apu71, Find a good computer service with EEPROM programmer. They should help you. BTW, I replaced the memory chips in the GTX680M for a faster, but unfortunately there is no differences in speed and just as before the artifacts begin to appear after crossing 2600MHz. What should I do? Replace the MOSFETs?

Here you will find info. http://www.hynix.com/products/graphics/view.jsp?info.ramKind=26&info.serialNo=H5GQ2H24AFR&posMap=graphicsGDDR5 It seems that the ROC chips also work with 1.35V (Ordering Information).

Thank you svl7, I replaced existing memory chip hynix H5GQ2H24MFR-T2C (1.35-1.5V) with H5GQ2H24AFR-R0C (1.5V). The memory chips is properly soldered (tested on X-ray). In standard VGA mode, the card boot and works, but after installing the drivers, drivers do not work properly and after a reboot I got only the bsods. Probably, the drivers initiate the card with 1.35V voltage (that H5GQ2H24AFR-R0C does not support) and then applied 1.5V. I guess I'll have to do a next smal hardware mod or replace the memory chips again, with samsung (1.35-1.5V) chips this time. Does anyone have another idea?

svl7, Could you answer me, yes or not please?

svl7, Is it possible to set in VBIOS constant voltage 1.5V for 7970M memory chips?
-
It is quite certain. Nvidia did not have to show the next strongest cards in one year. Well, unless they want to humiliate AMD.

Catalyst 12.11 performance driver for GCN coming today (3 PM)
Clyde replied to Brian's topic in General Notebook Discussions
AMD has always been good in the charts. After all they make the graphics cards. I've lost my hope that AMD will do something with enduro and HD7970M and I took to be an exchange for faster memory chips. I'll see if it work.- 10 replies

Thanks a lot. This will take a little bit because I got a card without x-bracelet and I can not properly install the heatsink. I should get it at the end of next week. Regards

Hi svl7, sorry for the delay, I had a hard drive crash after F/W upgrade. Here is the HP K5000M vbios. K5000M.zip

PLL resistor is not evident, but there is no other possibility ME resistor it is.
-
R194 is absent on the motherboard (empty space). Just like PLL resistor.
-
If I'm not mistaken, you can edit in XTU the Turbo Boost Power Max, but without much impact on CPU performance.

@svl7 BTW, I would like to ask, do you have a clevo K5000M vbios (OC/OV like MSI_GTX680m4gb_+_200MHz_OV_ver2 if posible)? I also want to OC/OV my (HP) K5000M QS. Can I flashign K5000M with vbios from GTX680M? Regards

Using your 4GB GTX 680m to its safest and full potential

I have the same problem in my P150/170HM with MSI_GTX680m4gb_ + _200MHz_OV_ver2 vbios. -
Thank you, As you write, P150HM/EM natively did not have support for the Intel XTU. Only P170HM/EM have. Since two years I wrongly thought that in P150HM due to lack of support by the HM65 chipset. Thanks to Moral Hazard, it turns out that the chipset does not matter. As soon as I find some free time, I will write something about both mods (P157HM and P157EM). Regards

Great news for P150HM/HM65 (29x0XM) owners. News: Moral Hazard (me) just flashed the p170hm bios onto his p150hm, success!
