hi i too have looking at buying this cpu for my aw 17 r4 but heard people saying you need a 3 pipe cpu heatsink but they are availible for aw 18 only ? does this mean the aw 17 dual pipe cpu heatsink cant handle the upgraded cpu ? some help would be very much appreciated as im hoping to purchase this next week ?

After looking at the info I think in going to get the 980m and take a gamble

hi all I'm currently running a nvidia 660m oc'd on my aw 17 r4 and wanted to upgrade the gpu what am I best to get ? Was looking at 980m but see a lot of problems which card offers best performance ? Please help I keep looking at the 780m ?

hi all been reading many pages i also own a m17 r4 and still run a modified 660m and am looking for a new gpu to give me a bit more life out of it which can you recomend as the 980m would of been the candidate lol .

Just a note lol I'm getting crazy over heat issues now going to flash the vbios back to stock

Hi all , I got my 8970m core clock to 1021mhz and memory at 1250mhz any higher and my computer locks up with black screen I seem to get better results with msi 3000 beta than trixs I'm using power limit set to 15%

I love the look of this game !

I bought it didn't think much of it , they haven't got far I think bf1942 was the best imo

please help I have had a nightmare installing my 8970m , tried a fresh windows 7 wipe still no good also tried all amd drivers it seems to not register the card at all . ? tried to find some files to make my bios unlocked but cant download them anywhere I have tried a10 and a13 bios im lost now not sure what to do . I have removed all nvidea drivers too and as stated wiped windows 7
