  1. just set your system to boot 2 Cores and then try it again
  2. Yes, i was surprised terry702 let that sit for that long. lol
  3. @Khenglish I think you may want to go back and re look at that. You're off by 25 seconds my friend...Unless you are talking about first for T|I.
  4. Oh snap! I forgot I could just run my windows 8 and trim my drives. Thanks Brother Fox.
  5. LOL Quit Cheating and run it the right way. LOL
  6. Are you running a locked or an unlocked bios? (without me looking around for the info)
  7. Probably not for a few weeks. Still testing 780m stuff. And that is not putting you in your place. That place you earned. So never ever forget that! We have come a long long way. Time to accept your credit as part of that class of overclocking and benching.
  8. Well we did this same thing with the m18x r1/r2 and should work for the r3. Max watts is about 532W running dual 330W psu's. And that was measured.
  9. So I have mine up and running as well. So far the 680M SLI with a mild over clock will run around 510W.... thus far. 780M running a tad bit higher.
  10. @Clevorr If you have a kilowatt meter,... Can you measure the total watts draw from running test 1 of 3dmark11. Reason being....Not really sold on the idea of this 300+300 psu is really working. Sure, it's doing something...but the real question is...exactly what. Would like to see if you draw more that at least 438W to 443W which is what our psu cuts off at. Thanks.
  11. That is exactly why. 3d11 loves more ram or at least 12gb to 16gb. Not sure what happens with more.
  12. Next time you feel in a good benching mood and it's cool out. Uninstall the second card and run it in the master slot. Try to find out which card is your weakest card.
  13. Now that's what im talking about. Nice job there.
  14. Finally, Clevorr is getting with the program. LOL! We will never knock what you do sitting on a desktop during normal conditions. That would be the norm after benching is over. Benching for us is like letting the world know..This machine is capable of reaching these types of clocks and speed under great conditions. Once your done seeing what it's max might really be, then you go back to normal operations and every day clocks..... But with a sense of internal pride.....Knowing what you rig can do when you really put your mind to it. And here is an even easier setup... Note Laptop is fully put together. LOL If you can't pull off any of this, then just go out side one night. Roll out the wireless tv and head on out back when it is far cooler than daytime. That would even help. Many members have done this. Just bundle up!!
  15. Yep, upgraded my R2 as suggested. Going to use Brother Fox's example for this [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.0] %NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.048F.1028% = Section187, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_048F1028%NVIDIA_DEV.119F.05AA.1462% = Section189, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_119F&SUBSYS_05AA1462%NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.057B.1028% = Section191, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_057B1028%NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.0580.1028% = Section192, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_05801028 [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.2] %NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.048F.1028% = Section187, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_048F1028%NVIDIA_DEV.119F.05AA.1462% = Section189, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_119F&SUBSYS_05AA1462%NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.057B.1028% = Section191, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_057B1028%NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.0580.1028% = Section192, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_05801028 [Strings] NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.048F.1028 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M" NVIDIA_DEV.119F.05AA.1462 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M" NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.057B.1028 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M " NVIDIA_DEV.11A0.0580.1028 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M " See that your strings look like the highlighted ones in blue per the example. Side note: For windows 8 you can just boot into driver signing off mode.
  16. You would now need to mod the correct inf file for the install to work.
