  1. Don't worry, Ultrabay vBIOS is separate from primary GPU and will flash fine on v2.04. Read

  2. I had exactly this problem with my Nvidia 960 and my EXP Beast on my Lenovo L440. I had to sell my beast and buy a PE4C which is stable in gen 2. I had an Nvidia error with the PE4C tho when i updated to the newest nvidia drivers (364 or so) so i wiped my computer and let windows update download the driver instead of going to nvidia.com. Windows downloaded the 358 driver and it has been stable ever since. Played The Division and Rocket League for more than 6 hours straight

  3. Good job, 1100 MHz on stock voltage (1V) is a nice result for the 650M. If mGPU support was as good as it was in early 2013 when I bought my Y500, instead of getting worse, then OCed 650M SLI would still be quite viable for the duration of this current console gen. I suggest reading the site rules, specifically this.

  4. Oh man. UPDATE! So, I was able to update the bios on the Ultrabay 650m. I used the latest NVflash64 for Windows I could find (v.5.265_win) that I could find. Remembered to UNLOCK the EPROM (nvflash64 -r). Then Followed the instructions. I think the different thing I did this time was REBOOT IMMEDIATELY, before doing any futzing around. I may have forgotten to say that this was all on Windows 10 Pro (64bit). I'm pretty happy about this. Totally extending the life of my Y500 from 2013/14??? I can't even remember. Next up will be to install a mSATA SSD drive as a new boot drive with a FRESH install of Windows 10, and not have to worry about losing all my stuff (meaning game installs) on the slow stock HDD.

  5. You are most welcome my friend. Spread the word ! If anyone wants higher then usual quality MXM cards, I'm your guy ! ( On a side note, if anyone has noticed, there are less and less vendors selling broken used videocards for outrageous prices. It was a long term goal of mine, and what originally prompted me to sell so low and to NBR and T|I members - forums and selling sites all over back in the day had so many sellers for broken cards, no one knew how to get them working , people were pawning off their troubles to other people etc.. there was just a bad experience for people wanting to upgrade a MXM 3.0b card, but nowadays, it's not so bad. Most the cards are good, safe, and you don't hear nightmare stories 5 x a week like you used to about people being ripped off and being sold crappy stolen cards from china and stuff anymore. I really feel, I helped contribute to this brighter future for people like us, and I want everyone to know, I could not have even helped a bit - if it wasn't for NBR and TechInferno and my supplier/ partners at Eurocom.)

  6. Here are some pictures http://imgur.com/a/QhJQq, note this is with the 960. I also have a barrel plug that takes power from PCIe cable but am trying molex at the moment. Have not had a single crash from the 960 so this enclosure could be 100% stable with Nvidia.
