  1. I'm really sorry for you. Please if you have the occasion to test your gpu on a desktop or the PE4L with another GPU to determine what hardware can be faulty. It's a painful process but we need to investigate all possibilities.

  3. Personally I'd buy the EXP GDC v6.0 (ask the seller for the v6.0) and a GTX670.

  5. I got ShadowPlay to work by reinstalling the drivers and choosing the "Express" Install setting and after the driver finished installing, ShadowPlay turned on (haven't tested yet). If choosing the "Customize" does anything to SP working, I don't know... I deleted the NvStreamSrv, LEDVisualizer, and the N3DVision folders since I had no use of it (Streaming and N3DVision), or was incompatable (LEDV) before the reinstall. My logic is that there's simply is no use wasting SSD space and having useless processes running... I did that with all the previous drivers and had no issues since Mobile GPUs were not supported for a lot of GFE's features. Now it looks like to get ShadowPlay to work (Capture Service most likely) you have to have streaming capabilities (Streamer Services)... It is disappointing that for one, Nvidia cannot add a few lines of code to delete the old driver folder(s) in the Nvidia folder in C: and the Installer2 folder in Program Files/Nvidia, and separate the different features so that we can choose what we want to install. They used to be able to do that...

  6. Intel has similar TDP power limits for the CPU that can be set within the chipset. Most laptop manufacturers do not use these secondary limits but some do. That might be the problem with this laptop model. If these values are set lower than the ThrottleStop values, then the lower values are used. I wish I could do more to help but it might be a long while before I get this problem solved. For this laptop, the 3920XM is not recommended because the bios does not let it run at its full Intel rated speed. Thanks for all of your testing. It helps me understand these problems much better.
