  2. @Marcus007 just be careful read large article on batterry life just bring charge down low... all the way can effect battery life. if storing your batterry 40-60 charge is recommended never is 100% recommended for storage. try this decoding bsod hasn't been easier. Resplendence Software - WhoCrashed, automatic crash dump analyzer post what it says and someone here is bound to be able to help. you have to hit analyze and hopefully system saved bsod dump file.

  4. Take a look here: Bug Check 0x9F: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE Try installing the latest 290.53 nVidia drivers and if that doesn't fix it, you need to call Dell to troubleshoot the problem since it could be hardware related.

  8. when it comes to copyrights which is a 244 page law, for the most part for the first 50 years a work is automatically copyrighted by the creator without filing for it. If you so do decide to file it only adds another 20 years at which point it becomes public domain after that. ( I learned the hard way with a game I created many many years ago, I sold the rights and lost out of tons of $$$) has anyone heard of an app that creates space scapes? I had one about 1-2 years ago and I am pretty sure it was free, it did amazing thing and I want to find it again but can't remember who created it an all I can remember was it wasn't any large company might have been a single person type program. what follows is an example of a piece I started in the app. the planets were imported from bryce but otherwise all is what ever app this was.

  9. So simply put, let's say you want to connect with Windows Remote Desktop Connection to my M17x laptop which is connected to my local network (as well as 2 other computers) and then to the internet through the network router. The only thing that is visible for anyone on the internet directly is my router. So if you want to do Remote Desktop on one of my computers you can't access either directly, you can only get to router and then the router somehow has to know what do you want and to which computer that information has to be sent. So you basically connect to my router to a certain "port" -- it's not a physical plug, but rather a number representing an abstract "port" (it has to do with the organization of network structure of the internet). The router then has table which says something like "if you receive a request on port 3389, send it to a computer in local LAN on the local IP 192.168.1.2." and lets say my M17x has that local IP. Then you can connect, using my router as an exactly what its name says a "router" to route all data you send with a mark "port 22" on computer with IP 192.168.1.2. Port forwarding is typically needed also if you want to play a game with your friend over the internet directly, without using intermediate servers. (In that case, one player hosts the game -- a server, and another player or players connect -- clients.) If you're really interesting you should read some beginner book on TCP/IP. "Cool stuff, bro."

  10. I can confirm that this works with the Clevo 6990m. I used the 12.1 beta drivers and I did not have to change any of the Catalyst files.
