  1. Here's some pics of the skateboard a friend and i made last year in school over the course of 1 and a half trimesters of work, and the rest was learning the program. Other than the colors and textures, we made everything. We actually took apart one of my skateboards to measure some things, and make sure that we had absolutely every part. pretty nice if i must say so myself The ball bearings were a little annoying at first, and especially the base to the trucks. That took a lot of work to get the right angles to make everything fit.

  2. The good news - Charger arrived, it was very well packaged, it works (I'm using it now), I'm keeping it. The not so good... It's bashed to shit, the corners are all heavily worn, there are little scratches and dings all over it. I honestly have no idea how someone did this much damage in the time since it came out, subjectively it looks several years old to me. I'm OK with it (just) as I can't get one anywhere else, and even if I could it would be three times the price. However it was probably the worst online transaction I've ever been involved in over ten years or more across multiple different interests, vendors, auction sites etc. Not exactly recommended.

  3. Sorry, haven't been around here much. What i did was to undervolt the card to 1.05v and use the original psu i got with my M15x. The shutdowns still happened with 1.05v and a 240 psu for me. /strigae

  5. Lots of good info obtained. Raw images reveal much as well as pictures of paste impressions I cannot find the exact full die size but then have not looked too hard yet but initially pressure is very good as I suspected it would be and contact appears to be around 50% - 60%, 9/10 th's of a centimeter So basically you have half the area for dissipating 35W - +2X the thermal stress on a compound in an environment that is already warmer than most to begin with, little wonder why people are experiencing accelerated compound degradation. I currently have 3 people on tap for C/P testing it would be nice to get a broader profile of 20 to 30 and to see how things trend.
