Hey, I bought the whole pack and with an MSI GTX 970 it's unavoidable to bend the Akitio... I hope not damaging it when breaking the welding points.


I have seen that for the flattening process you took out the circuitry... Is it easy to do (noob-wise)? Maybe I should do it for the whole process to avoid damaging it?

I know this topic is over a year old but is there any long term reviews/advice of having your GPU that close to the circuit board of the Akitio? It seems over time your just going to destroy that circuit board with the long exposure to the heat that is generated by the GPU.
