Miguel Maroto Madrid
Reset the card then -> BIOS -> OC Options -> "Bus Clock" just re-apply current settings -> "apply settings immediately" -> "apply settings permanently after reboot" -> F10 -> auto-shutdown -> done.@1252/2805 P0-P1 matched, stock v.Then set P0 1252/2805, P1 default/stock settings.I'm not quite sure that is a problem with that, if I disable SLI the core clocks stays as high as I set it through NVinspector. J95
Miguel Maroto Madrid Now we will improve the score 2k min..., this will allow you to OC for many hours. Reboot as many times necessary >TDRs<, shutting down will restore @1126.4 MHz OCing. There are three ways to reset the card, simply enter the BIOS and re-apply BCLK current settings, another is using XTU to increase BCLK 'min frequency' and lastly is to install v344.75. The latter works 100%. Please follow all the steps below. Uninstall current driver/DDU "Clean and Shutdown" optionInstall GeForce 344.75 WHQL use this .inf nv_dispi.inf_v344.75 -> reboot. After booting to desktop/windows fully loaded -> uninstall v344.75/DDU "Clean and Restart" >NOT< shutdown option. Install GeForce 350.12 WHQL -> nv_dispi.inf_v350.12.zip -> reboot. Start OCing using P0/P1 method, gradually increase frequencies.....Push the cards to the limits... On your responsibility.

Miguel Maroto Madrid
After testing with 344.75 (+ your inf.) I'm not quite sure if it's driver related. With this drivers, I see the core trying to maintain the frequency but it always end with random core throttling (135, 500, 866 or so) but the good thing is that the core tries to be as high as possible all the time. Maybe you could apply your 350.12 fix to 344.75 drivers and I will check that for you. 350.12 seems to be the best driver so far talking about stability. I have one more test to do, install on top 344.75 your driver but first going to the BIOS and reset the BCLK.I will come back ASAP with more info. etienne51
Hello again to everyone here, I've been here a while ago, I'll say about 5 months earlier, and I finally just decided to buy myself one GTX 980M for my M17x R4.So I see the options remains the same, meaning, either Windows 7 with Optimus, without eDP 120Hz panel, either Windows 8.1 or 10, with dedicated graphics, and the ability to use a 120Hz panel right? And apparently no worries about throttling issues when using Optimus.I tried to read the 100 more thread pages since the last time I've been here, but I may have missed a lot, that was quite huge. Now I'm comming back with one question... I just saw the Clevo P771ZM and I'm wondering if a 980M bought from HIDEvolution could be swapped to this Clevo monster later, with or without a vbios flash? Anyone knows anything about that?I just sent them a mail to get more informations about their cards, I'll see what they tell me.Actually, I plan on upgrading my M17x R4 for the moment, and maybe in the next months or even earlier, I may buy a Clevo P771ZM without graphics card, and put my 980M inside, if it happens to be compatible. I have reinstalled right now "..(only nv_dispi.inf) -> GeForce 350.12 MOD (PEG) AW/900M Stock Throttling Removed (P1 switching) " and as expected no throttling from 1126 MHz (this mod is the most stable) but we can't go further than 1126 MHz If we could have a different VBIOS to try, it will help us to know if the problem persist even if you force those clocks & voltage by flashing the cards. Is there any how we could try to mod Prema's vbios? I would like to test something like: P1 - Core 1300 MHz / Memory 2905 MHz @ 1.112 mV (stock voltage + 50 mV ) P0 - same clocks as P1. I don't know how to do that or who can help on this.
