i know in gt72vr there is no such wire on 1070 gtx, that picture with the wire came from "upgradeyourlaptop" at ebay and also can be seen in the Eurocom upgrade video

yes, like I said it throttles at 90, replacing CPU heatsink help to get it down by 8C and I have gained 9300+ slight OC, still can't understand how people get 10500 out of it!

it seems I had a bad heatsink for the CPU, replaced it with another one and got -8C and +1000 cpu score. AW18 indeed throttles at 90C.

i have been fighting with the physics score, no luck, there is no throttling, cpu util reaches 85-90% during benchmark, I can do nothing to improve the CPU score. I think Windows 8.1 could be the problem. any ideas?

it seems I can not get over 8500 physics score in 3d mark 11, OC'ed and not. I see people scoring up to 10500 on this CPU. anybody has any idea? already tried different memory modules, no throttling occurs as well. thanks!

the problem was in the motherboard, was replaced by dell and now all is fine, except that the new motherboard have weird colors of backlight... will have to RMA it again it seems.

Maybe you have changed the driver? which one you are on?

does anybody know if m290x is compatible with Clevo 37xsm-a model? mine m290x card is from Alienware 18 and after flashing with 370sm Vbios i get fans on full in 20seconds after POST and it starts beeping and shuts down after 2-3minutes. Prema, maybe you can help?
