Omegaxboy
Hi, I have a P170. For my understanding that CPU and GPU each has it's own fan but for some reason doesn't matter what I was doing either video encoding or playing games, only the left side fan speeds up. Is this normal? I'd thought if I'm doing video encoding, only the CPU would be used and left side fan is GPU unless I misunderstood.I have this temperature keyboard mod that I know when I'm doing video encoding, none of my iGPU or dGPU were in use.Thank for anyone who can enlighten me. Question
See : http://forum.techinferno.com/clevo-sager/3809-clevo-known-fan-noise-issues.htmlKnown issue with clevo laptops. Bad fan profiles. The fan will keep turning on/off instead of remaining at a steady speed.

It makes a bit more noise than the GPU fan because it is smaller and thus needs to spin faster.
Slovedon
What games are you playing? It may be that you are playing games that stress your CPU more than your GPU. Skyrim is like this (without heavy graphics mods).
