In this thread you can post your requests for Lenovo ThinkPad T450s.

If someone wants upgrade Wi-Fi card and remove whitelist, or unlock hidden additional menus and settings in bios setup menu, or already upgraded Display and after that can't adjust screen brightnessthen you can post your request in this thread.

Important!

For creating bios backup and to flash bios mod, you must use any SPI programmer  (like CH341A programmer) and a SOIC8/SOP8 test clip!

Just dump your Bios using any SPI programmer  (like CH341A programmer) and a SOIC8/SOP8 test clip, then post it in this thread or upload it to any fileserver and send me the link.

Hi!

Yes, you can send me (via PM) your bios dump which was made using any SPI programmer, or upload it to any fileserver ( for example https://www.sendspace.com/  )  and send me the link.

Hello,

Would you be able to perform same unlock (display whitelist and advanced menu unlock) for Lenovo T550 (20CKCTO1WW) - I couldn't find a thread about this model.

Here is the bios dump of v1.22: https://www.sendspace.com/file/r5bqj6 and link to bios on Lenovo site: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/n11uj14w.exe

Thank You!

Hi Klem,

I just bought a t450 and was curious about what hidden features this unlock gives us? I understand the benefits in the whitelist and seeing that the M.2 2242 drives are so pricey I think a high-speed 4g card might be the best upgrade option instead of storage.

Thanks in advance

i want to ask two favours and a question from this community ..

1.) Can someone mod my 940 mx to increase the target temperature and allow higher overclocking than 135hzband voltage control

2.) Allowing my i5 7200U to be undervolted to reduce overall heat

The question : I repasted my gpu and cpu cleaned it thoroughly, made sure twice everything is connected properly, use a cooling pad and yet the upper portion of my chasis above f1-f12 keys is so hot that i can roast peanuts on it.

(if i left out any info or missed something please reply i would really love to have a page that has everything for people who have this laptop specifically for light gaming.)

Hello everyone ! I need your help to display the advanced options of my BIOS (Dell Inspiron 3501) (V.1.8.0 - UEFI) so that I can manage the fan operation and disable the option Intel Speed Step.
Here are several BIOS links in different formats (.rcv, .rom, .exe) :
