    This happened because you flash the bios which was made for Sigvardr (not for you). His laptop is Dell 3537. With this metod you should flash mod bios which was made only for your laptop. Now you just cloned Sigvardr's laptop.

    Right now Nvidia drivers 361.xx versions is not best choice. We need wait next version, or use 359.06 Currently, on this forum not available a ready-modified vBIOS for your laptop. Maybe later it will be done. It is requared some free time.

    For end-user only two ways: 1. Waiting when Asus will make new version of bios, with increased throttling limit. 2. Buy a simple hardware programmer (for example ch341a) with SOIC clip, and flash mod bios with it. Unfortunately in your case flash mod bios with software, doesn't help with throttling limit.

    In this laptop, increase throttling limit will be possible only by using hardware programmer.

    In this laptop vbios is a part of main system bios. Therefore for unlock GTX 960M in ASUS G501JW you need flash mod system bios into laptop.

    Don't try force command to flash it! You will brick your laptop! File QIWY3207.ROM only for InsydeFlash.exe! For fptw64 or fpt in DOS you need use another bios, with another size.

    Rom file error??? Or "The version of rom file isn't newer than the version of bios"??? Very different! Post a screenshot of command prompt window with errors.

    Don't know about Windows 10. Try disable in bios setup "Secure Boot" and "Fast Boot".

    Remember to set the Option (BIOS Back Flash) in bios that enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.

    Try. Run as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go. platform.rar

    Flash the latest stock bios for your laptop (51X), then flash the latest EC firmware for your laptop (T24).

    I don't know. But I think may be the same program as you use for extract vbios from system bios?

    It was because you flashed the mod BIOS that BDmaster has done for the other guy. You have saved a backup of the BIOS before flashing your laptop?
