Yeah @curvingedge will do. Hopefully im going to unlock the bios and have all the settings available to me so that should make it easier. Yeh, have a go with intel XTU, you should be able to get 4.2-4.3ghz without to much adjusting which is pretty fast and big jump in 3dmark score etc.. problem is runs out of volts at around that which is at around a mediocre 1.2#v or so and i don't see a way to adjust it with the Clevo. EDIT: Actually, with intel XTU you can increase the "additional turbo voltage" and that in turn will increase your vcore under load so try that but be careful, watch temps because they rise pretty fast, Clevo cooling fans are hopeless and never ramp up to 100% so i cannot go with much of an increase in volts with the P370EM.. And you also can increase turbo boost power and short term to 99W..

Yeah i will be running the same CPU in my new M18x but i am very new to overclocking mobile chips, iv always used desktops in which all the settings are in the bios plus better cooling potential. I am in the same boat as far as doing this unfortunately, all i could manage on the Clevo was 4.2ghz which gave a decent physics score of 10.3k but it would have a ton more in it. I used Intel extreme tuning utility but there is no voltage control there i think because the Clevo bios is very basic and locked so was running out of volts at 4.2ghz.. They pretty easy to overclock i would imagine being the latest Extreme Chip. Just a matter of upping the multiplier and volts along with the current limits and just keep temps in check.. I will do some testing when im fully up and running in the m18x.

You will throttle if the cards are going above 92 degrees no matter what but that's kinda a good thing as those temps are not real good. YES, single card still throttles with the manufacturer standard bios its a power saving and safety feature..

Yep, very easy to do. Just need the extra heatsink assembly and screws if you don't have them already and in it goes.. SLI cable also as Brian mentioned is easy to get. Vbios flash is very easy, there are instructions here too. You looking to buy or upgrade yours ?

Yep. Same with my P370EM, after i flashed that amazing vbios the 680m,s never throttled again! Was so easy and soooo worth it! I ran 80.04.33.00.10 and worked flawlessly, not a single problem. My scores are below and best i could do on the Clevo was 978mhz on both cards Stock voltage!

I don't think i will be able to get as high as you 2 guys but you never know lol I have no clue how to OC my CPU in a laptop platform so i will have to do some study and trials and even before that, run the right unlocked AW bios and start the trials. GPU should be sweet as im gonna use the all famous Vbios that brings out amazing feats from the 680m,s

Yeah i seem to remember that Clevo had some option for joining two 300w power bricks in paralell for there old design desktop + dual GPU systems. Some of them had issues shutting down and some didn't so they offered this solution for those who had problems. i might look into something like this for the M18x.. :S

@Brian, Have uz seen the Razer blade Laptop made by "razer" lol I was looking the other day and come across it. Good performer in an ultra thin and portable laptop form factor and looks pretty cool. Anyone got one ? But anyways, i wouldn't have anything but my AW now and wouldn't change a thing i love it! It is huge and heavy but that doesn't really bother me. Will see when i take it on my travels to Europe!

@Mr. Fox Holy !@#$% That is mad impressive! I knew these 680m,s were capable but that is beyond capable, well done man. Never thought 17k would be possible. And yeah those guys working on those vbios versions for us are fantastic, keep up the top work guys, you are the best! What happened to CPU score ? You could have hit 15k total P score!

You will not believe how much improvement there is, 680m is a truly amazing gpu.

@Brian. Just waiting on the AW 3 pipe Extreme CPU sink cooler, should be here in couple days.. It came with 3720QM. Got everything else.

Yeah the vids in the log in start page are okay for a basic run down, watch them if you havn't already. But yeah, the object is for your empire to take over all the areas in the continent which is done by charging in a compound and taking out the generators which are the Shield and other icons on your map. This takes down the Shield so you can enter the facility with force and sit on A marker, there are others C,D in some other compounds. Take them over!! Also other way around, defend your area from being taken over.. Just join a big Platoon and follow.. lol

Its pretty good price. But the lesser spec hardware drastically lowers the cost as you probably know but ud still come out on top I think. . Doesnt compare to the m18x but it would be great for a normal good performing everyday machine!

Yeah, those results i got at 978mhz are maxed out Due to the cooling capacity of the Clevo. See what happens.. Edit: Actually, any higher and i get driver crash but the hotter you are at load, the sooner the crash..

I only started playing this recently, and i think its great! Sure it has bad points but all games do. And its freaking impressive for a free game. I know of many expensive games that are far worse than this.. Anyways, gonna see how long i can play it for without getting sick of it. lol
