I use PFSense but have a dedicated Wifi Access point in my house, that allows me to better centrally locate my wifi and tuck my VMware environment away in the basement. I have tried wireless in PFSense before but never had success with it.

You can find an Intel AC 7260 on amazon for $22 if you are willing to modify your bios whitelist.

I have not had any problems with overheating in mine, but I use it on hard surfaces when I game and keep my heatsink clean.

Thanks for putting this together. Is there another location where the files can be downloaded? Specifically I am looking for the error 104 fix.
