  1. Unless the stock bios supports change of voltages either through the bios or software, then your best bet is to reseat the cpu heatsink with good thermal paste reapplication.
  2. The only thing i would have changed with that order would be the 750g momentus, it's a waste to have a hybrid drive as storage, it used to be a small fix in place of ssd's (to elaborate, either get it for a boot drive until you get an ssd or just get a regular hdd for storage) but even then they weren't that great, they will die like hddvd did. I recommend getting a second samsung 830 and putting the 2 ssds in raid 0 for ultimate speeds and get an external/swap optical drive hdd for storage. That's what i have done exactly except i have 2 Crucial M4's and a samsung 830 in the optical for storage.
  3. When cleaning fans out with air compressors/canned air, ALWAYS make sure you hold the fan in position or you'll run the risk of misaligning the fan and it will make noises, just use a cotton bud or something soft and blow/suck away. As for the surfaces, i personally use 99% Isopropyl alcohol and a microfibre cloth for optic fibres. Gets rid of anything and everything, all surfaces look like new especially glossy surfaces. Screens use the LCD based cleaning products and a lint free cloth.
  4. is this the same vbios as in slv7's original sticky? (clevo 680ocnew) ?
  5. With the new Clevo OC vbios, what is the max core clock anyone has been able to reach? am currently looking at flashing my vbios to try and get to 1ghz core and 2500 mem. I am currently running my 680m on a clevo p170em at 853 core 2200 mem and only get to 59c after a few hours of gaming, but i get bad frame rates in sleeping dogs, only 22fps on average.
