@Prometheus091 thanks for the reply. I have loaded up 361.91 after using DDU (which seems to be a rock solid driver btw) and the problem seems to have gone away! Still wondering if the v2.0 mod would benefit us Asus users or is there no real benefit if there are no 361 based issues? Thanks again for your awesome mod. Definitely enjoying the new found stability.

Although my card seems to be much more stable with this BIOS I get a black screen when booting my machine about half the time and I need to hit the power button twice to put it to sleep and wake it in order to get my login screen. This absolutely co=incided with loading the Prima BIOS on my G751JY w/GTX980m and I would greatly appreciate if us Asus users could get updated to v2.0 as I am hoping that will deal with the issue. I am on 361.43 btw.

@Prema is there any reason for us Asus users to want this BIOS to be update to v2.0 or would there be no real benefit to us?

@Prometheus091 We will also need a dump of your motherboard BIOS as apparently there are some HWIDs that will be added which the software checks on the GPU BIOS and the motherboard BIOS. I am excited to see if we can all get this for free after someone like you dumps the files for everyone. @Prema What exactly is wrong with the 361.xx drivers? Will the Asus bios get updated to v2.0? I've been a Carmageddon fan from the very beginning and I was an original backer for this latest instalment of Carmagedodn. With that said I must admit that reincarnation is a huge disappointment for me. The music is mostly horrible, the optimization is completely absent as the game runs like absolute crap on any computer, the graphics are extremely outdated, the damage system isn't up to par compared to other games today and the loading times are absolutely outrageous. I wanted this game to bring back that child-like feeling I had while playing Carmageddon 1 and 2 but it has really failed as it is just a horribly developed games. I hope they can salvage it but releasing it in the state that it is in now might have been a serious nail in the coffin... Sad story.

I am told this is the BIOS you are looking for! Let me know how it works for you. I found it on this site but have not been able to download it because I do not have 5 posts yet. I am eager to overclock my G751JY as well!

I've read that it really depends on the arrangement of the grates on the bottom of the laptop. I know that putting one under your laptop can increase the air flow to the bottom grates which does help but for me (G751) the extra airflow from the fans doesn't translate into extra air throughput through the cooling system of the laptop and my temperatures maybe go down 1C if I am lucky. I use the cooling pad I bought just to add extra space under the laptop and make it a bit higher up on whatever surface I used. I also read that extra space under the laptop can help it keep the cooling system cleaner as less dust is sucked up. Basically, you need to read if a specific cooler helps your specific laptop.

I used the leaked GSYNC driver on my Asus G571JY and it works really well. Everything was ridiculously smooth. Beyond anything I have ever experienced. The only problem was that in Arma 3 when I would dip below 20fps the screen would blank and there is no frame doubler module (or whatever) with the actual GSYNC module.

Seems the 353.00 drivers have made things A-OK fir us! (Sorry for the useless post as I am trying to get 5 posts so I can download a modded BIOS for my GTX 980m)
