I agree with everyone above as far as their issues. I have a Y510P with SLI and the battery life drains fast and I have to also switch to a single graphics card by disabling SLI. This can be done with the NVIDIA manager as well. The heating issues are pretty bad too and some games aren't optimized well for SLI. It would have been better for Lenovo to have put a single card that was more powerful like a GTX but the computer was cheaper than most other gaming laptops.

The built in wireless card is horrible. I have Wireless N at 5GHZ but this card can only see it at 2.4 GHZ. My old Dell computer from 2008 has a better wireless card installed. LIke what everyone else is saying the only way to improve the wireless is the custom bios and new card.

I have it and I like it. I would've rather had a strong single graphics card rather than the two running in SLI but I don't really need a CD drive anyways. Personally for me my only gripes would be the trackpad buttons don't have a dedicated button and the battery life isn't that great. The speakers sound great and I can't complain about the screen quality.

I've had some weird issues updating as well especially with my GPU. I went back down to 2.07 and everything has been more stable since then.

With your Linux setup have you had any Bluetooth issues? I had Linux mint dual booted with Windows 8.1 and it works fine in Windows 8.1 and my other machine with Linux Mint but does not automatically connect to Linux on this machine with dual boot.

Does anybody know if there are any sizes larger than 128GB? I have dual GPUs and don't want to lose the slot and have my OS on the M2 SSD but space is pretty low.
