  1. If you buy a GTX970M with MSI Vbios it will be Plug and Play,For Clevo You need modified Driver. And You must modify Your Heatsink.
  2. Here is the OC Vbios for Clevo GTX 670MX,after Flashing You can overclock more than 135 MHz with MSI Afterburner. Clevo 670mx - 3GB - 80.04.58.00.03 - 'OC edition'_rev02.zip
  3. GTX 970M will work in MS-16F2,i tried it nearly one Year ago.
  4. But if You have a GT780 i have a Solution for You,this is my old Motherboard from a GT70 OND. Ebay: 321994471876
  5. All KxxxxM are not possible because there are all Cards with Keplerchip GK104. This Chip don`t work with MS-16F2 or MS-1761 Motherboard. If You have Luck You can use it with 3000M or 4000M with modded Driver.
  6. I heard also that the Dell Cards are not working, but i can`t say something like this because my Card was a Clevo. This is long Time ago that i try to use this Card in MS-1761 Maybe is here someone who know this exactly.
  7. You only need to flash the MSI Vbios of the GTX 770M,then You don`t need to modify the Driver Inf. MSI 770m - 80.06.54.00.11 'OC edition' - rev02.zip
  8. Hello You can upgrade to GTX 78M/GTX880M/GTX970M/GTX980M For GTX 970M/GTX980M you need another Heatsink or you modify yor own Heatsink. Is not so much Work. Maybe you need the last Bios and EC Firmware that the Card works stabil.
  9. This Card is a very overclockable Card. The Basic Clock is only 600MHz,but the Card works between 900-1000MHz. It is up from the Card. With MSI OC VBios the Card makes more than 6000 Points in 3Dmark11.
  10. Try it with deactivated GPU in Device Manager.
  11. The MS-1761 don`t supported Nvidia Optimus,it works only with Grafikcards. The Intel GPU is not working, without Card Your Barebone will not start. The Reason that Your Barebone starts is that the Card is not complet broken.
  12. Hello It is Your GPU,this is a known Problem of the GTX 460M up to GTX 675M. Yesterday i changed a GTX 580M with the same Problems in a MS-16F1 from a Friend. Your next Problem is you can`t use every Nvidia GPU,only the following Cards are working in this Barebone: GTX 460M/GTX 560M(another Heatsink) GTX 570M/GTX 580M/GTX 670M/GTX 675M(Your Heatsink GTX 765M with modded Driver,GTX 770M(another Heatsink) GTX 970M/GTX 980M(another Heatsink) Also works a AMD HD 7970M in Your Barebone, but only R1.2 with NON Enduro Vbios(another Heatsink)

  14. Try first the T18 Firmware, this You find here. https://forum-de.msi.com/index.php/topic,108018.msg845749.html#msg845749
  15. GTX 870M is a Kepler GK104,they dosn`t work in MS-16F2/MS-1761 Only GK106 like GTX 765m and GTX 770M will work.
  16. Hello You can use every Nvidia Card, have a look here: https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/forums/topic/8008-msi-gt70-mxm-card/
  17. I`m not shure, but i think the GTX 980M in Your Gigabyte is soldered. I looked for some Information this morning about this. So You can`t change the Card to the GT70,please check this first.
  18. You can use Cards on Keplerchip from GTX 670MX to GTX 880M,Cards on Maxwellchips from GTX 970M-GTX 980M or Ati Cards like HD 7970M/8970M. For Keplerchip You can use the old Heatsink from GTX 570M - GTX 675M without Modification,You only need more Thermalpads. For a HD 7970M/HD8970M You need to modify the Heatsink. You can buy a MSI Heatsink for HD 7970M/HD8970M and also for Kepler-and Maxwellcards for MSI. If the Card are not from MSI You need to flash the MSI Vbios or a modified Driver INF. If it is no Problem for You to modify a Heatsink, flash a Vbios or modify a INF then look for a cheap Card with Power and take it. Are You not shure look for a Keplercard with MSI Vbios, but it is not complicated to flash a Vbios. You can also ask for Advice when You find a Card.
  19. This are my second Expiriences with Vbios modding,I try my Best to learn more about this.
  20. First here some Benchmarks from K3100M/K4100M/K5000M from my GT70 Haswell. http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/10661863 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/10599233 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/102602 And with 1GHz the K5000M makes 8250 Points. The GTX880M of a Friend in a Alienware makes 8350 Points. This is not extremly overclocked, the Boost Clock of the GTX880M with the same GK104 Chip makes 993MHz. For 50MHz i don`t need GPU Boost. The Quadro Cards are very undercklocked,600MHz like a K4000M is nothing for a Keplerchip. The GTX 670MX and GTX 675MX are also very undercklocked, they also work with 600MHz. The K4100M is not a GTX 780M,it is a GTX680M The K5100M is a GTX 780M. You can`t flash the K4100M with GTX 680M Vbios and K5100M with GTX 780M Vbios because the Card ID is not in the Vbios. The Quadro Cards have it on the Board, they have different Combination of Resistors for it. If you flash the Card with the GTX Vbios nothing change, the Device Manager still shows KxxxxM and the Card don`t work. I paid for the K3100M 129€,for the K4100M 150€, for the K5000M 200€ and for the K5100M 250€. This are cheap Cards for this Power. Of course You are right,a HD7970M is a very fast Card. And You are lucky with the Flash of the Card. For People like You and me this is a easy Thing, but for People without Expiriences it is a high Mountain. For them it is easier to use a Kepler Card with the old Heatsink from the GTX 670M with a little more Thermal Pads. My first Choise for Upgrading is Quadro M or GTX MX. Herzliche Grüße aus Leverkusen Schau doch mal ins MSI-Forum
