  1. I also recommend Furmark (FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, Burn-in Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net) as I've found this very useful for stress testing and locating faults with graphics. Well worth running if your having graphics related problems and/or a few hours of this with no problems means your graphics should be solid
  2. What were the details of your blue screen issue? How did you fix it.?
  3. I've got laptops with SSDs in raid 0 and stand alone and love both but I honestly don't see much difference between the two in daily use. One thing I'd check is if your motherboard supports trim etc Mine doesn't so periodically I have to turn off raid optimise the drivers and then enable raid again which is a pain, but worth it in the long run. If I was setting up my raid machine again I'd still go for two SSDs but run them both individually. Have the OS , temp files etc on one drive and install games/apps in the other which should still give a slight performance increase over a single SSD.
  4. With Acer there may also be the option of a crisis bios. This flashes outside of the OS using a USB pen drive and Fn and Esc and will go back to the version on the pen drive. I had a quick model look but didn't see one at first glance. If you post the first 10 digits of the serial number (which identifies the model; it will be something like NX.RYFAA.006) I don't mind having another look and may have more success...
  5. Nice. Thanks for taking the time to put the pictures up. Found this very useful earlier this week when stripping my m18x down
