I did reset the CMOS and still no option Chipset All other functions are hidden only this one absence It looks as if the BIOS does not see the chipset

If you can afford 760, buy it. Better performance, less heat (as i recall) and newer chipset. In the future you will make OC and it will be monster .

Why 4 way sli with 770? Do you need a space shutter or PC for gaming? If you want to play games you don't need so many gpus. Unless you need your PC for work. In that case you should buy GPU for pros like QUadro or somethink simmilar.

I would say 690 will be better than 2x670...but i suggest one 780. One card, less heat, less noise, simmilary performance... and if you think about this, less TDP.
