  1. Is there any way to get ahold of the DX12 swarm benchmark I wonder? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  2. I doubt that driver would install on 8. My guess is its a WDDM 2.0 driver built specifically for 10 running on a desktop nVidia card which is why it needs the INF mod. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  3. Maybe I'll put 10 on a VHD again and try it out, it's been since the first consumer preview that I tried it. Wonder if OC works lol. That would be perfect Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  4. Yes but that unlocks it for software too for the custom vbioses so things just go back where they were. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  5. I'll mess with it tomorrow. I saw a report that M II BT worked on mobile but regular MBT did not. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  6. Search for Maxwell ii bios tweaker 1.36 Sounds like 1.31 wasn't totally compatible. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  7. This should be the latest version http://www.**************/t/1517316/extract-and-flash-gtx-970-and-980-firmware-zosons-h2o-and-air-custom-bios Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  8. Beats me then, maybe it's a later version that I didn't find. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  9. Will it open an untouched ROM? Should be able to set everything yourself if you know what you're doing. Otherwise if you ask nicely Prema or svl7 might help you. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  10. That's what I read. I haven't tried it personally. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=394091 Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  11. Don't you need to use Maxwell II BIOS Tweaker to open 900 series vbioses? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  12. Wasn't aware of that but it's going to add to their PR disaster if they reverse this decision and they really can't afford more PR after the 970 mess. What I'm worried about though is they raised the TDP 20% in the new drivers to stop needless throttling... I wonder how that's going to factor into the equation. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  13. How so? That wasn't that idiot ManuelG this time. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  14. It was never disabled on Kepler, only Maxwell. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  15. Well there is a point where you have diminishing returns if you don't bump up the memory speed but you need to know what the memory chips can handle. They're usually rated slightly higher speed than they're running at but that's not a guarantee. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  16. I knew they would change their minds with all the PR and end users pissed off. This is awesome news. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  17. I had mine at 1298 core. I don't mess with vram because there's no way to tell how hot it's getting. I run it stock now. Was just for benching. No need otherwise. I mean I can play Witcher 2 with a 3K downsample with 45-90 FPS depending on the scene, there's no need to overclock that I've found yet. Lol Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  18. The problem with doing this is that no two cards are the same and since the flashing tool only works in Windows, you want to use it as little as possible because so much more can go wrong with Windows which multi-tasks 24/7 vs DOS that does not. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  19. I'm not brave enough to push Fox clocks but 3DMark11 Extreme - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/9224246 Firestrike - http://www.3dmark.com/fs/3929982 Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  20. That's not a slow kill. I mean these cards came out in October. My 2009 Alienware M17xR1 with 260M GTX still works and I put that machine through hell. I would stop overclocking so much, particularly the voltage. Voltage is generally what will kill a card besides too high of a memory clock. If you don't need to overclock I would advise pulling back the core and voltage. 1380 is really quite high for a 980M anyway for everyday use. I certainly wouldn't risk my cards with those clocks 24/7. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  21. Use DDU to get rid of 347 and go to nVidia.com and grab 344. Overclocking is disabled in 347 series. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  22. Lol everyone is on Prema. "Make us a new BIOS mod, fix this, why is this not working, fix nVidia's block" Give him some time haha. Poor Prema. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
