  1. pretty nice job i must say, but at 3:49 when the girl is put back into the box, you can see her head pop out the top
  2. I saw this on the morning news before i went to school the other day and its one of those quick and small stories that really touch the heart. its nice to see people who actually genuinely care about not only the people in their lives, but even people they don't know. The best part was that the guy made everyone he gave money to promise to do a good deed for someone else nice way to get the ball rolling
  3. ^this. I listen to my music through Grooveshark usually. For those who don't know, go on Grooveshark - Listen to Free Music Online - Internet Radio - Free MP3 Streaming and then you search for whatever you want to listen to. Grooveshark then brings up all the results, which can be music that they have bought from the owners, or you can sometimes even find tracks from places like youtube. The good thing is, its completely free and you can set up playlists. I don't really use iPods or mp3 players, so I don't mind not being able to bring the music around. However, for a some price a month (i dont remember) you can take your play list on the go and have all your songs on a smartphone. If you don't want to pay money, then you can do surveys that give you points towards it each month. Surprisingly the surveys give a lot of points. /unintentional advertisement.
  4. switching things up a bit from my last post.. not a fan of the whole black everything, super spiked hair, etc, but I've always liked this song this song has become extremely popular in parts of the US, not only for its catchy tune, but also because it has a deep meaning (no, its more complex than a kid shooting people up). props to Foster the People from me.
  5. @svl7, yeah it all depends on what your into as to that song.. i didn't understand, so the music video was... i guess a good way to put it... interesting.
  6. hahah there are so many skyrim jokes/gifs/pics out lately [click to view, i put the picture in wrong i guess]
  7. Pop Culture - Madeon. Watch the video at the same time.
  8. saw that video of siri from a facebook friend the other day... died of laughter. , especially with the "is that the only thing she is sitting on" remark xD!
  9. at ninja, thats odd, i use bows only for killing dragons, you have to wait till they hover around when they will breath shit on you, take 2-3 shots, then hide behind a rock and restore health. once they are on the ground you destroy them with bows its awesome. i'll get a video up sooner or later, keep in mind though it helps if you find +xx% archery damage
  10. Just a heads up for people... Vampires: Hard to become one, not much fun. You don't get any amazingly incredible skills..but you have a lot of constraints Werewolf: Do the Companion quests, tons of fun, not any drawbacks other than everyone is afraid of you in wolf form. You own, there are really funny finishers, and you run really fast.
  11. i find reducing radial blur allows me to increase the shadow quality. and no matter what, there are some parts of the map that are badly coded or optimized. i had 65 fps (i lowered settings while i was testing) and i went past a small rock area and i dipped to 22, then rose back up. Oddly enough i go into graphic intensive areas and the fps is fine. its very odd.
  12. i think this is the first time, that my mind has ever truly been blown. now i understand the thread title, and the lack of words atm lololol
  13. haha @gladiator i would but i don't have BF3, and i won't have it till Christmas. You can add me on Origin though, (won't have any games there till Christmas lol) my name is 'mmskate13' surprised? and the same goes for steam. Steam games include Skyrim, No More Room in Hell, L4D2, Borderlands, and Portal. I also play Minecraft.
  14. hmm.. that does sound quite weird... i mean my cpu temps have gone very high before, (99 on 3 cores, 97 on other ) but it has always been during high overclocking, running a stress test, or messing something up with fans.. Sounds very odd that your computer is showing results like that at such a low overclock, but then again, it's pretty hot where you live. That said, it was 35 C where i was when i had those massive cpu temps, and there was minimal air conditioning. Now that it is ~ 7 C my temps are usually in the 80s, with a gaming overclock of 750 on core. I have a question for you, would you do me a favor and pop open ur m14x and check to see if you have abundant dust? I know it sounds stupid but sometimes heat can be from something as silly as that. If you do, by some pressurized air from the local hardware store and blow it out
  15. We have to remember that there are some people with legitimate concerns who want things to get done. On the other hand, there are band-wagoners who are bringing up completely different complaints up in the occupy wall street protests. That's the beauty of the situation, that when one group gets enough courage to stand up for themselves, that others will follow by example. The issue is that the band-wagoners do not always hold the same ideals. It seems some of the more radical movement units prefer causing fights between them and the police, knowing that the rest of the protesters will think the police are attacking. These groups are taking advantage of the situation to try to prove their point, which by all means isn't being conveyed at all. It is a disgrace that people like that have to come in and ruin a protest that was otherwise listening to the law of the area, such as the New York protesters, who gladly agreed to remove sleeping bags and other equipment when asked. In an effort to compromise, they even agreed to do a mass-clean up of their "Occupied Areas." Just brings us back to the good ol' law of life. There are people, and there are assholes, no matter who you support.
  16. what about a Momentus XT hybrid ? I've heard that those are quite worth the money (although i don't know anymore since the floods, those probably took a hit). They are hybrid drives between an SSD and a regular hard drive. It just switches. Its like optimus for hard drives as far as i know SGO - 520x417 Wide Single (Flat/Dark) and Four Reasons Momentus XT Hybrid Should be Your Next Drive | PCWorld Business CenterHope that helps
  17. I can't answer ur question Gears, since i have little experience with this as well, But as for Svl, prices are going up everywhere apparently. Idk the prices locally pre-flood, but its all over the news how significantly prices are raised.
  18. I'm lucky because i can download a free copy of Autodesk Inventor and any other product they own/affiliate with basically because my school bought an extended license. They linked our school logins/ID's with keys. I don't have it currently downloaded because this computer is new, but i'll prob have to download it later. And @mw86, imagine making an exact replica of an i7 , that would bring us some attention, although would take me about 4 years xDDD
  19. What do you mean by roots? Did you work in an engineering or CAD field?
  20. lol, i would but i'm pretty noob myself i probably wouldn't be able to do that in half the time with the changes to Inventor from 2011 to 2012. its so weird now in school. After like 3 months of picking it up and doing a tutorial exercise twice a week, you can do that and more
  21. Here's some pics of the skateboard a friend and i made last year in school over the course of 1 and a half trimesters of work, and the rest was learning the program. Other than the colors and textures, we made everything. We actually took apart one of my skateboards to measure some things, and make sure that we had absolutely every part. pretty nice if i must say so myself The ball bearings were a little annoying at first, and especially the base to the trucks. That took a lot of work to get the right angles to make everything fit.
  22. yeah, i just haven't updated my signature, LOL. i've had this for about a month, maybe 1.5. its amazzzzzzzing <3 lol..
