  1. Hello svl7, I already asked in this thread but I suppose it went unnoticed, so I'll try to ask you here since it seems you already know about this issue. Any advice/vbios for a Clevo P151EM1 with a 7970m and a displayport that doesn't seem to work (at least with a Displayport->HDMI adapter). Thanks!
  2. So... it works on the 7970m only IF we deactivate enduro (I suppose there's no way but flash a different vbios... right?) and install those mod drivers?
  3. Hello guys, sorry to bump this old thread, but I'm just searching for info and I haven't found any other thread about this subject. I bought a Clevo P151EM1 less than 2 years ago and I've been using it with my 7970m with no problems whatsoever. Unfortunately my HDMI out broke and I don't really want to send it back to the reseller to have it back in I don't know how many months. I tried to buy a Displayport to HDMI video adapter converter but, as you can imagine, it doesn't work. My TV "feels" like something is connected, but on my laptop it's like nothing's happening. I don't have a Displayport out to check if it works without the adapter. I tried updating my laptop's bios but nothing changed. I think you know more than me about this issue so I'll try to ask: should a different vbios help me? How can i check what rev is mine? (I'm reading of a 015.017 but I can't find this kind of numbers anywhere) I did edit my vbios to overclock the card, moths ago. Could that be part of the problem? Thank you!
  4. Probably a Clevo. I'd love to have an ultra fancy laptop like the Alienware 17 or 18, but I don't get why would anyone buy that instead of desktop PC. I don't get why Alienware doesn't give us the choice of the best GPUs in the 14" to be honest. That would definitely be my choice. I mean, as long as you have an HDMI/Displayport out, who cares if the display isn't big enough.
  5. I've been a clevo user for the last 2 years and I can't complain, but I got the feeling that Alienware has a better support. Too bad it's way too expensive and I should have bought a 17" laptop instead of a 15" one to get the GPU I wanted.
